I started going due to debilitating back pain/ siatic nerve pain, which was preventing me from walking long distance and chasing my toddler around. I noticed a difference right way and recommend it to anyone, especially if your pregnant. The weekly alignments help keep everything moving smoothly, while the body makes all these changes in a short period of time. I saw a chiropractor my 1st pregnancy at a different office, and didn't have the greatest experience. I researched offices in the area this round and found one that specializes in working with pregnant women. Everyone at the office is very nice and welcoming, the scheduling is also very flexible, which is amazing for juggling work, kids, and other appointments. I struggled with constant low back pain for years before I finally came in to see Dr. Brian seven months ago. I’ve been coming to the practice for a little over a year and when I first arrived, I had a mobilizing back pain. I’ve experienced moments where laying flat on the ground was the easiest thing for me to do to the point where trying to roll over or sit up straight, felt nearly impossible, and had nearly brought me to tears. I also was involved in a major motorcycle accident, where the aftermath was not nearly as painful as, the back pain that I was experiencing, though I’m sure that didn’t help either. I’m in my 30s and have a history of sports from early childhood through college. I’ve done manual labor within the service industry and I’ve been blessed to work remotely. I’m sure sitting at a desk is not the best thing for you, but it seemed all of my experiences had begun to compile . I do my best to stay active and to watch my posture, and it got to the point where all I wanted someone to do was to stand on my back, or do anything to relieve pressure. I would find myself taking ibuprofen or Tylenol and heavier doses just to make myself more comfortable, and one of my doctors had recommended using opioids to manage the intense [painful] sensations I was feeling. It only put a Band-Aid over it, but never addressed the root cause. He did. Doctor B. As always, been compassionate, professional, informative, and understanding during this entire process. On cloud 9 this morning. I have been seeing a chiropractor Dr. Brian for about 2 months. I have been told for years, I can't run again because of my back. I was getting those shots, didn't help. Couldn't find a new cardio that I liked. Well last week Dr. Brian (AlignLife, Nexton) said I could slowly start again (testing the waters). That was all I had wanted was to have no pain and run again. I would run a bit, go see him. (he's inside Bold Fitness gym). Said looked good, felt good. Soooo, today I pushed.
