Update 1/19/2024: I’ve now been here over 8 years and still love it! After having my last baby (in my 40s!), the coaches at 3rd Coast Movement (formerly CrossFit Bridge City) modified my workouts and helped me rebuild my strength and endurance to where I’m now stronger than I’ve ever been. I cannot recommend this gym enough.Original review: As a physical therapist, I had a negative attitude towards CrossFit. A friend convinced me to check out CrossFit Bridge City and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been a member now for 4 years. A big focus is on the athlete as a whole, peak athletic performance, nutrition, injury prevention, and recovery. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable, highly motivated, professional, and just awesome people to be around. They are eager to help, will to take time with you to modify your workout appropriately to prevent injuries or in order to meet your goals. They understand what you are striving for and they WILL get you there, all while having fun and in a safe environment.The gym has an awesome energy, is family oriented, and is an overall fun place to hang out. I love how the gym also finds community outreach important and offers many opportunities for community involvement with events, some free of charge! If you’re looking for a gym to call home or if you’re passing through town, this is definitely the place you don’t want to miss!
