I contacted Midsouth Removal, Inc. because I wanted to hire a local company and keep my spending local. I’ve used one of the large, national “800-number” removal companies in the past, and while they did what they promised, the cost felt high for the service provided. This time, I wanted to stick with a local team—and Midsouth Removal ended up being the first and only call I needed to make (scroll down when you google for move out cleaning).From the beginning, communication was excellent. I spoke with Romeo in the office and worked directly with Brian in the field. Both were consistently available by phone and returned calls or texts promptly, often within the hour. The entire process was straightforward and stress-free.I met Brian at the apartment for the initial walkthrough, where he provided a clear and fair estimate. During the job, the building’s elevator unexpectedly went out of service, which would have required hauling everything down two flights of stairs. Brian was transparent and explained that this would significantly increase the time and cost, and the job was paused with plans to reschedule once the elevator was operational.Later, Brian returned to check the building, found the elevator working, and completed the cleanout. I know it wasn’t ideal to come back after starting early that morning, yet there were no complaints and no additional charges. Despite the delay and extra inconvenience, Brian honored the original quoted price.The team even completed another job in between and still returned to take care of mine. Brian sent photos of every cleared room, so I never had to be onsite. That level of honesty, professionalism, and follow-through is rare.I cannot recommend Midsouth Removal highly enough for moving and cleanout services. Their website clearly explains the full range of services they offer, which I appreciated—unlike national chains that rush straight to location and pricing without context.
