One of the worst customer service experiences that I have ever encountered. I would NEVER AGAIN purchase anything from South East Spas. I called them multiple times regarding a brand new Master Clarity 7 spa that we purchased and was delivered in March of 2023. The spa quit working in June. After multiple phone calls to try and get someone to come out to see what was the issue, the company that they sent out did not have a clue what they were doing. Or they were trying to scam us into having to purchase another computer board and pumps. They told us that our computer board was fried. Said we needed a new one and that it may not be under warranty due to surge from alleged lightning strike. He unplugged everything going into the computer board and even went over to the designated breaker and checked to "make sure it was working". Much less never called back and when they did, they promised over and over that they would come out. No phone calls or texts or anything. Beware of purchasing from this company. Still trying to make multiple calls to them for feedback for their "contracted service company", but no one returns phone calls. We finally had our electrical company come out to be sure that the designated breaker that they installed was working properly. And low and behold, it was a bad breaker and not the spa at all. We waited for 5-6 weeks for Southeast Spas to return phone calls or something. Still nothing.......... Less

Please be very careful when purchasing these spas from local dealers. I purchased my TS8.25 from Southeast Spas Inc. in WPB, Florida. After a year and 3 months Jets 1 was not working in my TS8.25. Had our spa delivered in May. Exterior lights don't work. Tech has been out twice (and he was not very pleasant) and still don't work. Difficult to reach someone and/or get a call back. And each time we have to wait another month before someone is available to come out. Customer service needs improvement!!!

This review is about an exceptional employee, Rachael. Here is a synopsis of our experience. My husband and I bought a spa from Southeast Spas at a hot tub expo in Tampa. The spa was delivered to our cabin in a remote area of northern Alabama. The small spa purchase was a “test run” as we plan to buy a larger, more expensive spa when our new home in Florida is completed. After the spa was delivered, we filled it and followed the chemical set up instructions from the manufacturer. We also followed the instructions on adjusting jets (it was not at all intuitive). We used the spa the 1st night and could not get the jets to produce a strong stream, and when we looked at the water the next day, the water was extremely cloudy. This is where the trouble started….We called technical support at SE Spas. The 1st call took almost 1-1/2 hours (lots of hold time), the 2nd call the next day was almost 3-1/2 hours. We followed the verbal instructions from the tech to adjust the jets (which instructions did not resolve the jet issue) and to address the extremely cloudy water went over all the steps we took per the supplied instruction for spa set up. Basically, the tech inferred that my husband and I needed spa school and obviously we were unable to understand basic water chemistry. As an aside my husband is an advanced degree chemist and we’ve had spas for many years. At this point, being unable to resolve our issues we requested a service tech be scheduled to come to our house. The tech then put us on hold for over an hour and when he returned informed us there was no service available in our area. We then questioned how we would obtain warranty work and he ignored that question. I then asked to speak with his supervisor and since no warranty service is available in our area we wanted them to come pick up the spa and refund our money. Once again we were put on hold and after over an hour the call n was disconnected (which happens to be coincidental with closing time). At this point we vowed not to buy our spa for our new Florida home from SE Spas. The next morning we called customer service and asked to speak with the manager, Chris, who was unavailable. Rachael offered to help. We told her the entire story and she immediately started going over steps to resolve all our issues. We drained the tub, refilled it, followed her instructions and it’s now been 4 days and everything is working properly. Rachael followed up with us via email (over the weekend). We told her that she saved a future sale and delivered customer service that was extraordinary. Thank you Rachael for being a true professional and representing your company so well. Less

I bought the swim spa because I have severe spine problems and planned to use the therapeutic spa to help my condition but have not been able to use it , as planned because it is impossible for me to get the top off without the lifts I paid for 2 months ago. So they kept $1,750 of my deposit on a spa that wasn't even available for 8 months, said it was a cancelation penalty. So a different location mgr (Zack) handled the penalty along with the owner. The owner of this business with several locations (Phillip Giles) who does not take phone calls or answer emails has the paperwork worded to where he can just keep a customers money when the customer has received 0 product or merchandise from them on items that are not even available. We got a fire pit made in our backyard, they came out and did their thing and we had it up and running the same day. Couldn’t really say anything bad about that. It was a great price and they were super fast with getting it built.

Bought a hot tub a year and a half ago and it’s been great. We don’t use it every day, but it is so easy to maintain. Every home I have will have a hot tub in the backyard, it is a great feature to have and easy to jump in when I want to relax.

Our hoa wouldn’t allow a swimming pool the size we wanted so we ended up exploring other options. I am thankful that we found the michael phelps swim spa because this thing is top of the line. How am I suppose to know that when I don't know what I am looking at and the box they left holding all the parts was completely destroyed with parts falling out of it. As other said once they have your money they don't seem to care. Still trying to get a hold of a manager to sort this out for me. For the amount that I have spent on a spa, (Price of a new car) I cannot recommended going through them for your purchase of a hot tub or swim spa. They have taken away the enjoyment of the purchase and have made it a less than desirable experience. Wish I went through someone else. Maybe they treat you differently if you are located in South Florida compared to where I am at in the Panhandle of FL. Our swim spa is amazing. We literally use it every day and our kids love it just as much.We got it delivered within a few weeks and put it on a concrete slab. Easy process all together.

These guys came out to our house in Boca and made a beautiful custom kitchen. Matches the house and we got upgraded to some very nice stainless steel. The grill is top grade, we’re excited to get it going while the weather cools down!

I LOVE my new Twilight 8.2. I’ve had it about 2 months now and it’s amazing! I purchased it at the Pensacola Expo. Due to Covid I had to wait a few months on my order. However, they told me that upfront so it was not a surprise. I was thrilled when it came a few weeks early. HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!

Best spa I’ve ever owned. My aunt and cousin both bought from here because they loved mine so much. I love the mineral system. Very little chemicals needed. I love how low my energy bill is. They also delivered all the way in Michigan for us!!! I would never go with any other company. They are the absolute best.

My wife and I purchased our Master Spa H2X 19D Swim Spa over four years ago at an Expo sponsored by South East Spas. The service has been great from time of purchase to even when I had a small issue with my cover. They shipped me a brand new cover to my house then sent a service tech to see if needed anything else.

Their hot tub service department helped us repair a part on our spa that’s 7 years old. They are very knowledgeable and helped us get the problem solved. Thank you!

The outdoor kitchens that they build are amazing, I wanted custom stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and they made it happen. Awesome awesome service and the quality of the outdoor kitchens are top tier!

Good luck with service. Once they have your money, it is customer beware! They were very late with the delivery on our hot tub. Totally understandable, due to the pandemic. We never complained when they were five months past the promised delivery date, and we had to change to a color that wasn't our fist choice. Good luck with service. Once they have your money, it is customer beware! They were very late with the delivery on our hot tub. Totally understandable, due to the pandemic. We never complained when they were five months past the promised delivery date, and we had to change to a color that wasn't our fist choice. They finally called and told us we were scheduled for a Sunday delivery. We did not want a Sunday delivery because we wanted to have our electrician on hand to get that end of it installed properly. You would have thought we were asking for an organ donation. They were ruthless. They rescheduled us but didn't tell us the new date until a couple of days before. When they did deliver, it was with some very nice but unskilled delivery men. They did not bring the chemicals we had been promised, did not show us how to work the spa or how to manage the chemicals. I have called them several times about our missing chemicals and the scratch that was on the tub (the deliverymen promised that the company would send someone out to buff it out). No return call. Meh! Less

The young lady that helped me was very nice and informative. I bought one of the spas and can't wait for it to show up.

I have had 3 hot tubs and this twilight is awesome. I got the lifter they recommended and even my wife can open it and use it. definitely worth the wait. thanks guys.

We were supposed to receive a call back on Friday from Alexandra ... no call. No email. No update. They have no issue taking your money up front ($11,000), but big issues communicating. Sales person (Dave Mac) also does not return a call. I will continue to add to this review until this is resolved and it is successfully delivered. Not sure how they can continue to sell them when they haven't even delivered the ones they have committed to. I would proceed with caution if I were you. Less

Got an above ground pool from this company and they delivered it faster than any other company would in the area. Very simple and seamless process from purchasing to getting the pool up and running.

I purchased a hot tub in west palm beach about three months ago and it was delivered right to my backyard. They were able to put it inside my screened in area and get it all set up without any issues, I’ve used it on a weekly since and I love it!

After 2.5yrs the costco tub had a pump failure - easy conversation and replacement with a local rep in Charlotte NC. We decided to establish a relationship with our local West Palm Beach dealer and buy a MasterSpa. It has been my least favorite spa - mediocre quality at best (we have the largest Healthy Living model). A pump failed at 1 yr +2 weeks - as well as the control circuit board. The water features don't shoot out - just dribble. Called for a service after reviewing our warranty - the pump says "5 yrs parts and labor" - GREAT! But no, according to Ivan (service manager) and initially Rachel, there is fine print on the back of the contract that allows them to charge a trip charge at their discretion. First they insisted that Master Spas MADE them charge it but when trying to get the language straight it was a decision made by the South East Spas - WPB crew. I spent a long time on the phone with IVAN explaining to him what how a typical customer would interpret their warranty. He explained that if it happened prior to 1yr they would have waived it but since it was (a couple of weeks) beyond 1 yr - no waiver - but he did lower the cost to $64.00 (1/2 price). Note: we had been billed the full price which prompted a call to Ivan. On a positive note - the service tech was excellent. I have not found that paying extra for a tub just to have a "local relationship" with this company has any value for us. Less
