We are just back from a week stay at Bogg Hall barn. We had ten adults, ten children and several dogs. The barn had everything we needed and more. All the children have said it was the best holiday they’ve been on. It was great to see them playing outside and enjoying the fresh air even in winter. The barn caters for all with accessibility rooms and social areas to enjoy together. We can’t wait to come back. Our three generational family plus three (19 in total) have recently spent a celebratory long weekend at Bogg Hall Barn which was excellent in every way. Wonderful venue, warm welcome from Molly, warm and comfortable throughout the extensive modernised property (despite storm Eowyn outside) . Excellent facilities everywhere including indoor pool and outdoor hot tub; excellent ensuite bedrooms (although some found the pillows a little ‘hard’). Plentiful crockery and glassware. Log burning fire. All in all, the sales blurb is matched by the reality which is often not the case In today’s world. We had one of the recommended caterers provide an excellent celebration dinner. The only minor concern was the step between the dining room and kitchen which was a little problematical for the older members. Less

Amazing property with fantastic little touches. With 20 of us we all had plenty of room. There was a huge cupboard of games, hot tubs both were amazing, water gun fun included! Towels all fresh and the place was lovely and warm. Lots of glasses, cutlery, and pots and pans, though one or two pans we couldn’t get to work on the hob. We were mainly gas users so induction hob was not our forte 😂. Local area included a pub and lovely tea room. Super super clean! Lovely welcome treats on arrival. Couldn’t fault any part of our stay. Amazing venue! A group of 19 friends visited in November. Customer service before our stay wad excellent and Grand Get Together were always quick to respond. Gorgeous goodies left as a welcome basket which were much appreciated by our group. All rooms en suite which is a massive plus. The accommodation is outstanding and huge! We congregated in the main part of the barn with a fantastic kitchen island, it's own bar and pool table and beautiful tables to more than comfortably seat us all. We used a local taxi company to take us into Scarborough as the closest pub, 5 minutes walk from the house was closed when we visited. Kitchen full of everything you need including ample coffee pods and dishwasher tablets. This is the 13th year our group of friends have been away, and each year we choose a different venue. Bog Hall Barn has been our favourite by far! The pool was even checked and cleaned after our first night and is emptied after each visit! Fantastic, we loved it, thank you. Less

We stayed at the Yard for a hen do and it was incredible. The property is gorgeous and was the perfect space. There was also little cakes, milk, coffee & tea left for us. We had the most amazing weekend at Corner Farm. The property is beautiful and has been lovingly prepared for visitors with so many little details and requirements thought of and planned for. Molly and her team have done a brilliant job, and were so helpful answering random questions before our stay. What a fabulous house! 13 of us stayed at The Yard for our friends hen do, the size of the property is extremely surprising! There is nothing you can’t find in the kitchen it’s very well equipped! The beds were comfy and bedding and towels very clean. We’ve all said we’ve never seen a hot tub so big, it really was fantastic! Molly made getting in and setting up even easier by allowing us into the property a lot earlier than the advertised arrival time - without even asking! Would recommend and return! Less

Myself and family have just spent the most amazing 5 days here! The service we received made the stay feel so welcoming and no questions were left unanswered. Myself and a group of 15 other girls have just had a weekend stay at corner farm to celebrate a friends 40th birthday! This place is amazing so spacious and had everything we needed to just stay in together from the hot tub to the pool table and the fun we had winding up the birthday girl with the dolls house by leaving the door open and positioning the dolls in various positions (she was adamant it was haunted)! They have literally thought of everything from hot tub towels to everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The pub and takeaway next door was handy too! The house tablet had all the information you could need although I would have found this useful to maybe have this emailed a few days before so I could have read up on everything before the stay but thats probably just me! However Molly was only too happy to answer any questions before the stay and communication was superb. She even popped in to see how we were getting on when we arrived which was nice. 100% recommend and I’m sure we will back for the next big celebration! Less

We decided to move our annual family get together to Scarborough area - 16 adults and 6 children. The whole weekend in the Bogg Hall Barn was fantastic, absolutely loved the open planned living/kitchen/pool/dinning area - it meant the whole family were able to do their own thing but still be part of the group. The indoor spa was a big hit with everyone, especially the kids. All rooms were beautiful, a lot of thought has gone into the design, interiors and equipment that a large group need. We stayed at Bogg Hall Barn & had the most amazing time. 11 adults & 4 children & one doggie visitor. The whole place is beautifully decorated, kitted out with everything you could need, spacious, immaculately clean, each bedroom is gorgeous and the main living area is huge! We loved that the fire pit was set up ready to be lit, games cupboard was fully stocked, endless kitchen supplies, plentiful fluffy hot tub/pool towels & great music system. Great accessibility for wheelchair users & useful to be able to open the internal gates to drive straight in if needed. Molly was very responsive to our questions & so helpful to make sure we made the most of our visit. The view from the barn is so lovely too & while it was so quiet and peaceful we were also just a short drive away from shops etc. (not that we needed or wanted to leave!). Thank you! WOW!! We have just stayed at Bogg hall barn for my 30th with 23 friends and family! Absolutely breathtaking, the little details really made our visit, they have thought of everything!! The location is fabulous, some people went for a local walk on the Saturday, others went to Scarborough beach while some found a local pub to enjoy some dinner!! We arranged a singer/guitarist for entertainment for one evening which the lay out of the venue was Superb for a large group to enjoy together, every room was so spacious and the hydro pool in doors really added that extra touch for us all to enjoy together aswel as a smaller hot tub outside. We did have a problem of a 3 hour power cut including having no water, although it was a local problem it was also planned which we weren’t made aware of and it took us over an hour to be able to make contact with someone. I would definitely book the venue again and look forward to see the future plans they have for the place!! Less

We stayed at the Yard for my sister’s hen party. The communication with Molly was excellent, she always responded within a few hours. Check was quick and easy, the venue is absolutely stunning, the kitchen and dining area is huge and a perfect location for a large group of friends. We got married at Westfield Farm and it’s just the most beautiful venue for a wedding. The house and gardens and the fact it’s a diy venue make it the ideal location for a laid back, fun wedding weekend which is right up our street so it was the first and last place we looked at ❤️ Molly, Roz and Joan really are amazing, they are professional, friendly and knowledgeable and really made our weekend go so smoothly. We had the on day co ordination which I would recommend to anyone as we wouldn’t have been able to do it without them, it’s really worth adding it on. What A Place! We got Married here last week and had such an amazing time. Right from our initial viewing we knew Grand-Get-Togethers was the perfect place for the DIY Outdoor Festival Style wedding we wanted. Molly is lovely and nothing was too much trouble for her even with the many questions and multiple visits we had. We had guests stay across all 3 properties and everyone was blown away by how beautiful they were but I think the talking point was the Swim Spa in The Yard, which we had the pleasure of relaxing in the night before our wedding. Each Property is fabulously equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Having stopped here over Easter holiday with 15 members of my family for my partner’s 60th birthday from the moment we arrived to the minute we left was absolutely amazing it was the wow factor. We have just returned from a weeks stay at Westfield Granary. The property was perfect for us (6 adults & 5 children ranging in age from 3-11). It is spacious and really well presented. The grounds were amazing with so much space for the children to have fun, it includes a climb frame, swings, slide and goal posts. The games room and hot tub were also a hit. The location is great, not too far from the coast or a drive into York. We really do recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a get together with family or friends! Less

I can honestly say this is the most beautiful property I have ever stayed in! I booked this venue for my friends 50th birthday. Literally everything is thought of to make sure your stay is as relaxed as you want it to be! We literally had the most amazing time and can't wait to book again! Less

What an amazing venue we had such a hood time. Really high spec and great for get togethers set in lovely area with own privacy. One thing I would say is you need better shower mats. I slipped twice the second time really hurt my leg black and blue bruise, banged on the glass shower door. But overall was good had a great time. Less

Well, where do I even start to describe just how amazing this venue is? As soon as we went to visit in 2019 we just knew it was the perfect venue for our DIY wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for Molly & Roz. It's so refreshing after hearing so many horror stories that venues like this do exist and everyone there genuinely wants you to have the best day of your life. We hired the entire site plus the 3 accommodation sites for our guests to stay in over our wedding weekend and it was perfect. Everyone commented on how great the venue was, from the picturesque gardens to the amazing hot tubs across the sites. Correspondence was great and easy to communicate with all of my suppliers. It's worth noting that Molly & Roz often went above and beyond their roles, especially when we encountered some slight rain just ahead of our ceremony. It was all action stations and umbrellas were given to guests and my dream of an outdoor wedding was realised thanks to these ladies. Luckily it stopped long enough for us to get married and have our confetti pictures and thankfully it turned into a lovely sunny afternoon. All in all, if you're after a venue that feels like you're in the most dreamy setting and not like you're in the same wedding setting as the couple before and after you, this is the place for you. My 70th birthday party was certainly one to remember. Westfield Barn was the perfect location. All the family, plus their various dogs (7 in all) had a whale of a time. The furnishings were beautiful and everything you need was supplied in the huge kitchen. The family loved the games room and the field, for sports fun and games, was perfect for dogs and grandkids to let off steam. The hot tubs went down a treat too. We had our wedding at Grand Get Togethers and it was absolutely perfect. Molly was amazing at responding really quickly to all our messages and venue was stunning. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony but the weather had different ideas. Despite this, Molly set up the ceremony room absolutely beautifully for us and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Just returned from a 2 day family break at Corner Farm. It was the first time the whole family had managed to get away together all year and it was wonderful. The house is immaculately clean, well equipped- everything that you need is provided. We did struggle to get hot water at times, and if we were staying there longer we would have let Molly know but we coped. One thing we hadn’t realised is that the downstairs bedroom sits right on the crossroads and traffic passes frequently during the night so if you are a light sleeper choose another room, however we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here for large groups. Had a very enjoyable stay at Corner Farm with our large extended family to celebrate my Mum’s big birthday. The house is spacious and beautifully presented. It is well equipped to entertain all ages: two huge hot tubs (one indoors one out), pool table, darts, table-tennis and board games, as well as a slide and swings in the garden. 5* We stayed at Bogg Hall Barn for a stag party on Friday 22nd April for 3 nights. What an amazing place, everyone was blown away! Even with the accommodation in it's infancy, they seem to have every you would need during your stay. All appliances and rooms have been done to a high spec and would be ideal for a large group or even a wedding party. With indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a play park for kids, table tennis, football goals, there's plenty of things to do within the grounds. We couldn't recommend the place highly enough. We went into Scarborough on the Saturday, which we took the bus from the Ganton Greyhound (pub a short 15 minute walk away) bus stop, which only took around 25-30 minutes. Bogg Hall Barn - Absolutely out of this world!!! I already want to book another break to this fantastic venue! Molly and the Grand Get-Togethers team have been absolutely amazing from start to finish and we cannot thank them enough for allowing us to rent this beautiful property for my Sisters Hen Weekend. As you can imagine, when you travel with a large group of people (18+) you worry that the facilities may not factor this however, Bogg Hall Barn was clearly designed and so well thought out to ensure you have everything you possibly need under the 1 roof. 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, a BBQ, multiple seating areas indoors and outdoors, a large living area, TVS everywhere throughout the property and in each bedroom. It was perfect. The decor was beautiful and there was a perfect combination of that modern / rustic feel. Each bedroom is spacious, extremely clean, has an ensuite in each room and felt very comfortable to be in. We were blessed to have great weather over the weekend and made the most of the outdoor area and BBQ. There was also a smaller outdoor hot tub as well as the huge indoor 20+ seater one... which felt more like a very luxurious pool rather than a hot tub! Towels for the hot tubs are available as well as the bath & hand towels provided in each room for every guest. Already we have guests wanting to book this property for their upcoming big birthdays / anniversaries as they were blown away it. We had the best time at Bogg Hall Barn. The property is absolutely beautiful, each and every room is fully equipped with en suites and very spacious. The swim spa is unreal and the courtyard is very beautiful. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore Less

Stayed at the corner farm with my hens , had such an amazing weekend. Everything you need nice and spacious and spotlessly clean . Due to COVID we had to change the date a few times , but Molly was more then helpful every time we had to change the date she kept us updated with the booking. Oh my goodness what a weekend we had. My friend booked the West Granary house for our friends Hen Party and wow it was amazing. The house was stunning and had everything you needed for a lovely get away. It was absolutely beautiful! My girlfriends and I have recently stayed at Grand Get Togethers and all I can say was the stay was perfect from start to finish! The stay was a surprise for me as special celebratory getaway, I was overjoyed to turn up to find a spacious, spotless, beautifully decorated house with plenty of room for all 12 of us to relax, eat together, get ready (plenty of bathrooms) and most importantly enjoy the bubbles, laughter and fresh evening air in the hot tubs! We all enjoyed our sleeps thanks to the super comfy beds too! The games room opposite doubled up as an amazing breakout space too! I couldn't recommend this property enough! Wow! Bogg Hall Barn is an outstanding property. I cannot express enough how much thought Molly has put in to ensure your every need is catered for. The property itself is stunning and far exceeded our expectations. All the rooms are finished to a high standard and Molly has thought of everything that you could possibly need during your stay. We were there to celebrate a golden wedding anniversary and wedding so hired external caterers and even they said it was one of the most spectacular properties they had been to. The outside landscaping isn’t totally finished yet but this didn’t spoil our break. We will definitely book again for next year and look forward to seeing it fully complete. Less

This place is absolutely stunning! We were a large group of 13 and went for a long weekend for some birthday celebrations. On arrival we had baked treats and a lovely welcome card. Check in was easy and communication with molly was great she couldn't of helped more. Essential staples are provided which was lovely and everything else you need is provided from crockery to towels to hairdryers. Very spacious but cosy with the log fire and the hot tub is to die for! We stayed at the Westfield Granary to celebrate my son’s 30th Birthday it had been originally booked to celebrate my Mum’s 80th birthday in May but due to covid we had to reschedule. There had been a number of other family members big birthdays where Celebrations had been cancelled due to covid. It was also my future son in laws birthday during the stay so this break was intended to be a full weekend of celebrating. We went with cars loaded up with all the things we thought we would need but upon arrival it soon became very clear that everything possible had already been thought of and provided even down to the champagne bucket one of our party bought with him as he had planned a proposal on the Friday night.The place itself is amazing very homely and welcoming, and the games room was just perfect for our family get together, but the care and thought that has gone into every aspect just surpasses everything there wasn’t anything that hadn’t been thought of or provided. Molly has been so helpful and friendly over the time I have dealt with her for this booking despite obviously going through a stressful time herself with all the cancellations and rescheduling. Stayed here with my family Oct 2021, lovely place, home from home everything you need, games area great also the in door & out door hot tubs were fantastic. Lovely roaring fire with own wood store. Maybe need a bigger TV in lounge as the wall would allow it, also a sandwich, panni Toaster would be a bonus. Would reccomend. Extra beds if more than 16 doable. Absolutely stunning place. The way the accommodation is set out, makes it absolutely perfect for group get to togethers. I hired The Yard for my little sisters hen do, and it was the best hen do any of the group had been to. The hot tub is incredible and Molly has thought if everything right down to having a stash of serving platters for the bbq etc. I will 100% be returning the next time we have a reason group get together Less

From start to finish the whole wedding was amazing. Molly was really helpful with organising everything & keeping in touch throughout the planning process, her communication was always so helpful & prompt. The venue is absolutely gorgeous & all the guests commented on how amazing it was. We stayed with friends & family in the accommodation & camping from Friday all weekend, we had such a great time relaxing, enjoying the hot tubs, fire pit, pizza oven & BBQ in the beautiful gardens. We were left to our own celebrations but Molly was there if we needed her & we had help & coordination with the wedding ceremony. The accommodation was just stunning, every room is decorated to perfection. The place was immaculate. We could not have wanted a better venue for our wedding. It was just perfect & so relaxed. This is the second time that I have booked The Yard for a hen party, and it won’t be the last. This time it was for my sister’s hen, where friends and family attended. The Yard is absolutely brilliant. It sleeps 16 and each room has a spotless en suite. The open plan kitchen and living area is huge and great for hosting a party. There is a games room with a pool table and an additional fridge, which is ideal for everyone’s drinks - there is also a large 12 man hot tub which is impressive! The gardens are beautiful and immaculate - there’s a BBQ and plenty of furniture to enjoy outside. We all had a wonderful time. It’s the ideal place for hen party. We stayed at the Yard as a family for our eldest Sons wedding which was at Westfield Granary down the road, and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The accommodation was wonderful. The rooms were well laid out, comfortable beds and all had en suite facilities. The kitchen was equipped beyond what was expected and had everything you would need to cook ..... I even iced and assembled a 4 tier wedding cake there! The hot tub was a hit with everyone and provided much fun for all. Gardens beautiful and sliding doors to bring the outside in. We all honestly had the best time. It was lovely having so many of us to be able to all be together too. On a side note the Granary was equally as impressive! Thank you Molly and family. My partner and I got married at Westfield farm at the end of July. We had to postpone our wedding due to covid but Molly was absolutely amazing in accommodating a new date, she was so helpful and we are so grateful for all the help she gave us during that difficult time. We arrived on the Friday and Molly and her team were so attentive to all of our guests needs. The houses are superb; everyone commented how amazing they were (especially the hot tubs). The grounds are spectacular, the gardens were in full bloom and the space is amazing (we managed to enjoy a family game of rounders!) The morning of the wedding, Molly was around to make sure things ran smoothly. She helped direct guests in the right direction, set up our beautiful outdoor ceremony and let me know when the registrar was ready to see us. As I was about to walk down the aisle, the DJ played the wrong song. Caoimhe - who we have now nicknamed our guardian angel - ran to the DJ discreetly to let him know. Our whole weekend was just perfect and we both cannot thank Molly and her team enough for everything they did for us, on the run up and the wedding itself. Less

My son Richard Woodhead married Jess at Westfield Farm on the 7th August 2021 - the family stayed from Friday through to Monday and the facilities are fabulous! The grounds are beautiful allowing for outdoor weddings (weather permitting) a safe area for the children to play and a couple of hot tubs to unwind! Tipis & a bouncy castle were erected and on site were The Star Away From Home (The Star Filey) providing liquid refreshments and Trotters Pork Butchers feeding the guests. Molly and her mum couldn't do enough for the bride & groom. They run a very friendly and professional business. I highly recommend them. Less

We recently stayed with a large family group at the Yard, I have got to say we were all really impressed with the property and the facilities. All rooms were clean and tidy, the gardens were well maintained and lovely spaces for quiet time in one and play in the other. It was so good to be back at Westfield after being unable to go last year, it was so needed to bring all our family together again. Thank you Molly and Joan for letting us stay, once again the facilities were excellent & used many times, the granary itself was very clean & well equipped & I would highly recommend it as a place to stay. We had a fantastic week ( our 10th visit) but the time went too quickly. We will be back next year at Corner Farm as it will accommodate our growing family. We have just come back from a weeks' stay at Westfield Granary. We chose it as our wedding venue, and then stayed on for our mini-moon afterwards. Honestly, we couldn't write enough words to describe how truly special this place is! The properties (including the beautiful new garden suite) are absolutely stunning. Everything we needed for a week in a self catering accommodation was there. The garden and surrounding fields are out of this world and made the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding photos. Molly and Joan were on hand the entire time for anything we needed, and were so incredibly friendly and helpful on our wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. We can't shout about this place enough, and we sincerely hope to stay again some time in the future! Less

Would highly recommend Grand Get Togethers as a wedding venue. We had our wedding here just over a week ago. It was a perfect day despite the rain and the restrictions. Simply Fantastic!! We were very kindly offered a stay at Corner Farm during the Lockdown. Molly and Joan opened their beautiful farm house to support NHS staff who were in need of temporary alternate accomodation during this time.The location is perfect with the insane Wolds Way trail being right next to us, while the seaside (with its bays, castle ruins and green cliffs!) a barely a 25 minute drive (definitely worth it). Corner Farm itself is exactly as the pictures portray - bright yet cosy, comfortable and spacious with tasteful decor. The house has everything you could possibly need from measuring jars and baking trays to washing machines and massive hot-tubs.Molly and Joane, aside from being incredibly kind, are super efficient and responded to us very quickly. Could not recommend the place high enough.Thank you team Grand Get-Togethers for your generosity at these challenging times. We are truly touched. We are sure to visit again. Less
