They were able to get a Units container to our house when we needed it, where we needed it and picked it up as scheduled so that we could get ready for our open house and the BIG move. It is great to know the owner is involved and makes sure you are satisfied with the services they provide. When Brett came to deliver we weren't able to be there so we marked where we wanted it to go. To make sure the placement was right he even send a picture to my cell phone to make sure it was placed where we wanted it. We could take our time filling it and there is no time limit. It was placed in the climate controlled warehouse for several months and Brett just recently dropped it off in a timely manner and we unloaded it fairly quickly because we were ready for it. Brett was back in a couple of days to pick it up. It was so easy compared to everything else to finding a house to then having to wait another whole month after signing for them to move out. Two Units for several months while our house was staged and for sale. Four additional Units when time to move. The indoor, climate controlled storage was especially appealing. An acquaintance used an alternative, exterior storage provider, and this summer several pieces of their wood furniture warped given the heat and humidity. You will work with Todd who is a hands on owner. His Units are in excellent repair, clean and highly functional. Our movers were impressed. In addition, the fellow that will be delivering and picking up your Units is a former mover, so he knows the business. He can place the Units optimally for loading and unloading. Experienced moving personnel in the area know and respect him, he works well with crews. Neighbors saw our experience, and there have been Units in the neighborhood for various purposes. In addition, we just rented a Unit for a week to store items while there was work done on our new location. All went smoothly. Look no further. If you need a storage pod/unit, this is the company you want to do business with. They are accommodating, friendly, and professional. I needed them twice within 1 month for a large concrete project that included the garage slab. So, I needed to fit everything from the garage, plus a shed, into the unit. The first time I needed the unit was when the concrete was put in. The second time was a few weeks later when the concrete needed to be sealed. They have special, very reasonable pricing for this sort of project (when the unit doesn't need to be transported to a second location with stuff in it). I read some horror stories about the "other pod guys". Since the concrete project was going to start whether I had a storage unit here or not, I couldn't take any chances. They delivered it exactly when I needed it, and picked it up as soon as I was done. I highly recommend! Less

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one due to the amazing, family like service I received from Todd and Brett at Units Moving and Portable Storage of Madison, WI. Right after talking to them I felt special and like I was part of the family! They went way above and beyond what I had expected from a storage company and I really can't thank them enough for everything they have done for my kids and I. They're locally owned so this was a huge bonus for me as well! 5 mins after I asked for a quote online Todd personally called me, within an hour Brett was out delivering the Unit to my door. Brett placed the unit exactly where I asked him to place it, and even took his time to show me how to use it. About an hour later, I found out that I can't put my Unit in that spot, and i had to move it ASAP. Of course, this was so stressful because it was Friday, after hours at that, so I did not know what to do!! However, I remembered that Brett had given me their personal 24 hour phone that either Brett or Todd have on them at all times and decided to try that. To my surprise Brett answered, and he told me he had made it home already and it was a little ways from their station, but he then proceeded to tell me to give him about 2 hours and he'll turn around for me and move it so I didn't get in trouble. Amazing absolutely amazing. He could've told me to wait till Monday but he didn't, I am more than grateful for him as I’m sure he wanted nothing more then to be home with his own family! I was able to take my time packing my house and filling the storage unit at my pace. Within 2 weeks I was all packed, and placed the call to have it moved. They came within an hour, 👏🏽 loaded it up, and took it to their warehouse till I'm ready to move in my new home! Ive used storage units in the past but never have I received service quite like this! I work for a restoration company and this was our first time using UNITS. So many good things to say! First and foremost, Todd who owns the company is a very easygoing and professional guy. We had to complete a contents pack-out job for a customer and it required an on-site storage unit. This job was located almost 50 minutes away. Todd was able to get us on the schedule just days later, and for very reasonable prices. Provided insurance paperwork, etc. All on a very short notice. So obviously, that’s awesome business. But it gets better! Todd had his driver Brett deliver the UNIT, not only was he earlier than scheduled (which really helped us) but he was super accommodating, let us borrow a padlock as we forgot ours, and was able to get the storage unit placed exactly where we needed it with little to no effort.
