This was a little bit of a journey into the unknown for me. Although I am a retired aeronautical engineering manager, I didn’t know much about solar energy systems.Also, having been “around the block” a few times I didn’t want to get my fingers burnt by choosing the wrong company! Therefore my approach was go for a company with excellent reviews above all else, hence my choice of going with “Recharge Renewable”Long story short, I spread the installations over 2 visits to assess the initial results before the next and final phase over a two month period. On reflection: all of the team members, showed patience (with my endless questions) genuine professionalism, and excellent after sales support. I can’t speak more highly than that. The installation comprised of a 12 panel array + 10kw battery which is proving sufficient for our needs. Thanks to Perry and the team!

Recharge Renewables (RR) installed in-roof solar panels, battery storage, an inverter, and two car chargers at my property in February 2026. I selected RR because of the very positive reviews, and I was not disappointed.Communication from my enquiry to completed installation was excellent. Tom answered my questions quickly, and changed the designs, quotes, etc, to suit my bespoke & exacting requirements, to ensure the maximum possible KWp was generated and stored, while still providing a sleek and aesthetically pleasing look. Perry visited my property ahead of the installation, and again answered my questions and provided me with the assurance I was looking for - a team I could trust and work with. Lorna handled the pre-installation conversations, planning efficiently and effectively, completing our application to Western Power Distribution, so that everything happened on the day it should do. In all, the installation took 5 days, from scaffolding to handover, and the installation team of James, Ben, Fin and Taylor, were excellent, explaining what they were doing and why (and answering all my questions), leaving our property safe and tidy everyday, and always ensuring I was happy with the installation. Perry visited site to ensure everything was going to plan, and importantly, that I was happy with what the team were doing.I am very pleased with the installation, and I’m now generating and storing power for my home, and getting the results I wanted. The continued support and aftercare provided by Harrison has been excellent.I have no hesitation in recommending Recharge Renewable - open, honest, knowledgeable, efficient, and experts in their field, with excellent communication throughout from inception & design to completion.

We had recharge renewable design and install solar panels, batteries and an EV charger in May 2025.I reached out to some larger firms, but they seemed to just want to up sell. Recharge Renewable did not do this.The team were friendly, knowlegable and professional. There was no pressure and talked us through all of the process.They arrived on time on the day of the install, and completed the work in 2 days. The system is reliable and has been installed to a high standard.I have been sent certificates including electrical sign off, MCS certificate and the G99 confirmation.If I could offer advice to anyone considering getting solar panels, batteries and or an EV. Yes it’s worth it, do your research and choose a reputable firm like Recharge renewable to do the install.I would stay away from the government funded schemes. Done properly it’s a fantastic investment.
