I visited six different jiu jitsu gyms before Alliance, and the difference was clear right away. At several of the other gyms, it felt like the focus was more on signing me up than on the training, with constant texts and calls after trial classes. With Alliance, the experience felt completely different. They were more focused on my training than anything else and were very welcoming with a great sense of community. I’m on week two, and so far it’s been legit!!

Alliance San Marcos is an incredible gym with an amazingly warm and welcoming environment. Huge appreciation to all of the coaches for creating such a positive, supportive place to train. From day one, they’ve made us feel like part of the jiu-jitsu family. My son is genuinely happy and excited to train here, and that says everything. We’re grateful to be part of such a great community. Highly recommend!

The facility is clean and bright, the instructor Nick was very knowledgeable and respectful, everyone was friendly, the schedule was very good, with many options for all kinds of needs. From my experience at this gym, you learn a lot more moves. The classes are very fun. Their professors are nice. They’re cool. They’ll help you out if you’re struggling with the move and they’ll show you 3 to 4 times so you know where to start you know where to end and overall I get this gym a five star review because I’ve been coming here for months now and I love it. The community is good here as well.

If you’ve been considering trying out jiu jitsu, or you’re looking for a new place to train, Alliance San Marcos Is. The. Spot. I was a little apprehensive about starting jiu jitsu at first, but joining this gym has completely changed that for me. My only regret is not starting sooner!Professor Vini and all of the professors and coaches are genuinely invested in your growth. They do an incredible job of pushing you to improve while tailoring their approach to your individual level. The environment here is so welcoming, the gym is always kept super clean, and there are no egos. Just good people looking to train hard and better themselves. I cannot recommend this place enough.
