Today I had my last catheter change here in Florida as we are returning to Canada this Friday. Health at Home has provided the best possible care for the past 5 months. I've had several nurses and they all have provided great care, advice and, just as important, compassionate understanding. While I'm optimistic that I won't require catheter replacement service when we return next fall, if I do I'll be sure to engage Health at Home again. I can't say enough how GREAT the service is that my mom gets from Health at Home. Her nurse Candice treats her as if she was her mother. My mom who is 90 years old has been in and out of the hospital a few times and Candice has continually texted my to see how my mom is doing. Her latest trip was because she cut herself and Candice noticed it was getting infected and recommended that I take her to the Hospital and found out she had a Staph Infection that had to be treated with IV Antibiotics. If it wasn't for Candice who knows what the outcome could have been. Candice is a caring, giving individual and she brightens up my moms day when she comes to check in on her.If anyone is looking for healthcare services I highly recommend Health at Home. Less

She has been helping me for several weeks now and has put me through exercise routines which has increased my leg strength to the point that I can now use a rollator walker. I highly recommend Christina (Tina) Knowles physical therapist. Tina took the time her first visit to make sure she understood what problems my husband was having and what she needed to work on. She made sure my husband was very comfortable during the workout. On October 11 I had my left knee replaced for the 3rd time. With that and my age (72) I knew my rehab and recovery would be long. Fortunately my Cleveland Clinic case manager connected us to Health at Home, Palm City for a series of in-home Physical Therapy. From the initial office contact we had a wound care nurse immediately come to our home for consultation, followed by a RN on another day. The real challenge is to get my range of motion back. This is when Viktor arrived. I have never had a better physical therapist than Viktor considering the previous knee replacement therapy. Viktor is friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and professional. Always on time, but more importantly he knows how to motivate you to do better. I can't say enough about the positive experience we had with Health at Home providing in home care for my brother in law who is battling cancer and also autistic. His caregiver was so kind and assisted with daily tasks that were difficult for him such as showering, getting dressed and preparing meals. He always looked forward to Neome's visits. The nursing staff was also so helpful and getting in home care was beneficial in keeping everyone's stress levels down. All the nurses were friendly and kind.
