I cannot recommend Lou highly enough. After my recent spinal surgery—my second in the same area—I was incredibly nervous about beginning movement again. I met Lou just two weeks post-operation, and at that point I was emotional, hesitant, and unsure if I would ever get back to my normal life. Having been off work for six months before surgery, I was fearful that things like walking my dog, exercising, or returning to my job might never feel the same. From our very first meeting, Lou made me feel heard, understood, and completely supported. Her deep knowledge of biomechanics and movement allowed us to start gently and safely, giving my body the chance to heal while also rebuilding my confidence. Each session was tailored to what I needed that day, and she guided me through every step with patience, expertise, and genuine care. After several 1:1 sessions, I’m now moving confidently, progressing well in my recovery, and have even started attending reformer Pilates classes—something I never imagined I’d be able to do so soon. With Lou’s expert guidance (and the support of the wider team), I now feel hopeful, empowered, and even excited about my continued recovery.Lou is truly worth her weight in gold. Her kindness, support, and exceptional knowledge have played a huge role in my healing journey, and I am forever grateful.
