I have a 400 square foot patio in the rear of my home. It had a large and deep crack from one end to the other that caused me to lay outdoor carpeting over the whole patio for the past 3 years. I was looking to have the crack repaired and locate a company that could resurface the entire flooring. That's when Dave Reid contacted me on July 15th. I set up an appointment with him to meet and review his polymer product and was so impressed with him and his wife, DeAnn, that I booked his service immediately. Unfortunately, he was booked and could not start my patio resurfacing until August 26th, 6 weeks later. Dave and DeAnn showed up exactly as booked, August 26th at 9:00 a.m. and proceeded to work for 20 hours over 2 days until the job was finished. For the first 6 hours, they grinded down the entire patio and it's six steps and smoothed out the fill that caused the humongous crack to almost disappear completely. Then they spread a brown colored glue over the entire patio and filled all cracks so that the rock shavings can be could be thrown down and adhere to the glue. After a couple hours, Dave, with a leaf blower, blue into a corner pile all of the rock shavings that did not adhere, shoveled it all into a box, then scraped any loose particles. After this, they repeated the entire process. Then, for their last step, they spread clear coat over everything exposed. I was so infatuated with their process that I was exhausted throughout. I couldn't believe they could spend this amount of time without a break with the exception of a lunch hour on each day. I apologize for the wordiness of this review but it must go without saying that, regardless of their ages, this is the hardest working couple I have ever seen, certainly from people half their ages. I recommend Dave and DeAnn so highly for the work they've done and the product they left me with. I couldn't be more excited at the beauty they created. I want to thank the reeds over and over again for the job they did. I have so much more untreated concrete work around my house that I will certainly be calling them back for additional jobs. Less

I got several quotes from different businesses to apply epoxy to my garage floor. Garage Force, (DeeAnn and David Reed) do not apply regular epoxy. They use Polyurea, which seemed better than epoxy. They did a terrific job preparing the floor and then applying the new Polyeura floor. I highly recommend them. They did a great job, were always on time and and cleaned up afterwords.

I had Garage Force of Fort Collins install a 1/4" Chip Stone surface on my 10' X 22' concrete patio. The prep work was extremely well done and the final flat surface finish is good. However, the outside edges of the 90 degree corners is not good. I asked Dave Reed about it and was told this is just how it is. I would think someone would come up with a solution to this problem. The chip hangs out over the edge creating a " sawblade " type edge that is rough and will chip off over time. In addition, these corners and vertical sides do not have much finish material on them. Concrete is brittle and cracks with this movement if not given the proper control joints. the ductility of the polymer vs. rigid epoxies is that to some degree, it will move with the concrete and not crack and reflect every crack that the concrete expresses. In the world of engineering, ductile is always preferred over brittle. Brittle breaks, ductile moves and absorbs. 2. Epoxy is very dependent on thermal conditions to cure correctly. We had this installed the Monday after 11" of snow fell over the weekend. The temperatures were low and we were in the middle of winter conditions. We needed a product that could withstand and be applied in varying temperatures. 3. As an engineer, I design concrete on major commercial jobs, I wanted the same application techniques that I would see in that regard. I started with a different installer and ended up firing them due to their poor approach and lack of adhering to manufacturer's recommendations. There are a ton of these guys out there, stay away from them. The garage force team steel shot blast the surface of our badly deteriorated patio and prep'd it well. With these products, the prep is 80% of the battle. The garage force team did an excellent prep job, I know, I watched them as I run a business from home and could really check up on them.
