Colby and his team made all the difference on two projects he worked on for me! I appreciated his clear expertise on the assessment and correction of significant water damage in my two story house (caused by tenants), and his conversations to bring me up to speed on the technology, processes, and options were invaluable in helping me to understand what was needed and how to fix it. He is very detail oriented and his documentation of his work was letter-perfect! But even more than that, Colby performed as a tireless advocate for me in numerous (!) conversations with the tenant's insurance company, as they attempted to stonewall the projects and try to take shortcuts on the needed work (which they'd be paying for!). Colby would not take no for an answer, and his perseverance won the day. (and saved me several thousand dollars on work that the insurance company finally agreed to!) Finally, the quality of the remediation work that he and his team did brought the project forward to the point that, when the rebuilding (construction) crew came in, the hand-off between crews was smooth sailing, thus allowing the repairs to be completed in an accelerated manner and bringing the units back to livability very quickly. We recently had the misfortune of having a burst pipe and resulting water damage in our house. WE immediately looked for a water mitigation company and chose Affordable Restoration to mitigate the water damage and get our affected area to a dry state. Our experience with Colby and his team has been nothing but top-notch. AR used highly sophisticated tools to remotely monitor the state of dryness in out house. The sent weekly status reports knot only to us but to the insurance company's insurance adjuster and water mitigation group. In addition, Colby was constantly in touch with us to discuss progress of the drying. When the work was complete AR immediately invoiced us as welll as the insurance company. When the insurance company pushed back on two of the charges, Affordable Restorations was able to respond with industry standard reasons for the charges and the insurance company ended up paying AR the full invoiced amount with no further questions. Colby himself was always sensitive to the quality of their work, and asked several times if there was anywhere they could improve their processes. We couldn't suggest any.
