I waited 9+ months to post this full review after the successful birth of my son via IVF:I’m almost 40 and have been TTC for almost 8 years now. We first tried naturally then with medication (we were living in California at the time) but letrizole and clomid proved ineffective. We then tried eastern Chinese medicine and acupuncture for another few years and this was still ineffective. We moved to Bellevue and started trying naturally again with the help of fertility at-home injection kits but they were still ineffective even with the help of my OB at the time to manually inject sperm. She recommended making a consultation with Dr. Deng and this was the beginning of our journey together in conceiving.I had the privilege of seeing Dr. Deng as she initially started her practice on the Eastside. It was in a shared space with other OB docs & at the time it was just her & Edyta doing everything. My first egg retrieval was in another clinic in Kirkland because Dr. Deng had not yet established her own space. Dr. Deng was scheduling appointments, calling insurance for me, and doing all the practical behind the scenes paperwork but her level of care was never compromised. Right away, I noticed how knowledgeable she was in her field (she also graduated from Stanford) and her kind, supportive demeanor made us reassured that we would be getting personalized care. It was really different from the treatment I received at SRM and RCM (Bay area) where I felt like patients were treated more like a number. We had always hesitated moving forward with IVF until we found the right doctor - Dr. Deng!I did almost three rounds of IVF. My second egg retrieval, I didn’t respond well for some reason and we weren’t able to go through any embryo transfers. I was pretty disheartened but Dr. Deng encouraged us to try again when we’re ready. I tried acupuncture in conjunction with my third ivf cycle and I believe this had some benefit. My third ivf cycle was successful and an embryo successfully implanted in May 2025. now in her new thriving clinic at Overlake, the transfers and egg retrieval literally take place in her office so there’s no need to go anywhere else for procedures. Every time I come into the new Think Fertility clinic, it is packed. There are always patients there and I am not surprised because Dr. Deng is so skilled at what she does - probably the best reproductive endocrinologist in the northwest. Her team has also grown from a two person team. Now she has wonderful staff to help with scheduling, check ins, replying in the portal. The staff have all been great in supporting Dr. Deng’s practice. Edyta, Allie and Dr. Shaw are just wonderful. Sometimes when my husband was on business travel, Allie would help me with my injections because I couldn’t do it myself. Dr. Shaw and Dr Deng were also both so patient with me when I told them I had vaginismis. They were gentle with the probing and gave me time and the space I needed for each ultrasound along with encouragement. This practice far exceeds my expectations. Though my insurance didn’t cover infertility costs, Dr. Deng personally would call the insurance and handle my prior authorizations for meds to save me a few $1000s. She did the very best in helping me save costs and I don’t regret a single penny spent on infertility treatment at Think Fertility. I just gave birth January 15th, 2026 to our miracle baby boy and it’s because of Dr. Deng and her team’s dedication to their patients that made it all possible. I really don’t have the words to express my gratitude. Our son’s middle name is Jie in honor of Jie Deng. Her name in Chinese means triumph or victory. We believe it is a real triumph/victory for us to conceive after this long 8 year journey and though the road was difficult with lots of ups and downs, we had the best support from Think Fertility and all of this turned out to be so rewarding. She made me a mommy! Im enjoying week 2 of our newborn. If you’re considering infertility treatment, Think Fertility is the best. Can’t wait to see you guys for our second kid!
