Went to my first CrossFit class today at Asbury Park CrossFit. It was such a great experience. First of all- the place itself is cool as hell. The coach really knew her stuff and the other members were so friendly. Coach Sarah totally understood my abilities and modified the workout so that I was successful. Definitely returning!

APCF is the best! Initially, I was intimidated by crossfit and never thought I'd be able to do the workouts or programming. Sarah, the coaches and community made that fear all go away in an instant. She has a genuine care for people and wants to see all her members succeed in and outside of the gym. This characteristic is one shared by all the coaches at APF. An anecdote - I injured my shoulder during a workout with one coach (from overexertion) on one day. The next day, with a different coach who wasn't even present the day before, already knew about my ailment and had a modified workout for me ready to go. The coaches truly care and will coach you through all the ups and downs, will work with you to rehab from any minor injuries, and will check in with you to give you the extra push you need to be your best fit self. Since I joined this box 3-4 months ago my squat clean form has gotten so much better ! These coaches are great! They are very passionate and pay attention to detail! Such a great quality to have. If you want to learn to CrossFit and weight lift, this is the place to come !
