My Kids love RC .The best youth training in the area. The level of confidence my kids have shot up. They are always looking forward to going to RC . The best decision we ever made !!!!
I didn’t feel overwhelmed and he made sure to make me feel like I was part of the class. Everyone was very supportive and helpful. I loved the energy
My currently 7 year old daughter has been in the Evolve youth program for a full year now. She looks forward to it every week. Her participation and confidence in sports and activities outside of the program greatly increased within a few months of starting Evolve. Her confidence and leadership in general showed dramatic changes as well.
Love the vibes here! Small group personal training is a great way to get motivation and support to accomplish your exercise goals. The staff is friendly and engaging (kudos to Sydney) which creates an environment of people working out together and sharing stories. This place has challenged me to do my best, improved my exercise form, and introduced me to some great people.

Great gym that's doing everything they can to keep it's patrons safe during The Vid. Not a cattle call, $20/mo, meat market but genuinely great, personalized training for any experience level. Even for a slob like me with no discernable goals for my fitness level.

I signed up for the month trial and after two weeks realized I actually wanted to go to the gym. I was no longer a “I said I would go and I should go because I said I would go and I don’t lie well” kind of gym person but a “leave work ASAP and then, if necessary, sit in my car and wait for my appointment so I am not late” kind of gym person. An “ask friends to move wine night back an hour because it is dead bug night and I really like dead bugs” (this will make way more sense when you join RC and now you should consider joining just to find out why dead bugs are so fun) kind of person. Recently, at dinner a friend asked a random question about working out and I explained RC. She started to laugh, which given I am an introvert and slightly socially awkward (okay, moderately socially awkward), I assumed was in response to something goofy I said. Turns out she was picturing a Bionic Woman episode where she lifts a car off a small human and found it funny that was her mental image. Being a nerd as well, I started to wonder how many kettlebells that would equal and doing the math to determine at what point I might be able to lift a 1970’s VW Beetle. That is a big change from “lifting a martini is an arm workout” mentality and it feels great. Each workout is challenging and personalized for your goals with a good mix of “dang it, those are hard” and “SWEET!! I love these” movements. Everyone at RC is crazy smart about training and fitness. The coaches do a great job of pushing you when you need a push (sometimes a good shove) and picking you up when you are pretty sure the turf is your new home (hint – it isn’t but it is totally okay to contemplate living your life as a permanent fixture on the turf floor for a hot minute before getting up and getting back at it.) The other members are welcoming and since each workout is done in a small group, you get to see the same people and their amazing transitions, which is super inspiring. The only negative part of this whole thing is that I have been so busy getting to the gym I haven’t taken the few minutes this took to make sure they knew how much I appreciated being able to do so. So, here is my appreciation review and my wholehearted suggestion that you give RC a try. Hope to see you on the turf! Less
Thanks, RCTF! Yesterday I had a great annual check up with my physician. Compared with my visit last year, just about everything has improved: my weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar! I’m pretty sure the individually programmed exercise you provide is a big part of the improvement. You guys are the best!
Ross trained my son after a sports injury and was fantastic. He is a special guy that knows how to build a trusted relationship with his clients. A man of the highest caliber!!!
I transitioned to RC Training & Fitness' small group format from a long history of CrossFit. The intelligent and individualized programming was just what I needed to get over a plateau in my training. Even more importantly, RC boasts a community and culture that is welcoming, body-affirming, and committed. This place has become a home away from home for my wife and I!
Best place in Oak Park to workout hands down! Instructors are knowledgeable and they work hard to make sure it is always a welcoming environment. If you are new to working out, or a seasoned athlete, they will create a program right for you. Your fellow workererouters will be at all different levels too!

Instructors were knowledgeable and friendly. Equipment's were well maintained and always clean. Friendly people too. This would be the best place to do a work out.
The coaches are tremendous and fully engaged in each class. I've learned so much, not just about fitness, but about what I can achieve. It is worth it to give it a try, you won't regret it!!
Great place to experience Cross Fit training first hand. Ross is a cool guy. He has jokes that will motivate you. Everybody was friendly and knowledgeable 😅👍

I began strength training because I read that building strength could help prevent injuries, and I had been struggling with some frequent knee pain. RC Training & Fitness is great because they personalize your programs and they actually teach you how to do all the exercises. Plus, my mile time has gotten a minute faster. On the downside, all of my pants were suddenly too big. Highly recommend. Less

Or, worse, I often did things through ignorance without knowing if those plans would actually lead me closer to my goals. Abby, James, and Ross are very adept at designing a workout just for me and giving me the space to engage!

I am happy I took a chance on this place! Staff is great, workouts tough, but good! I love that all my workouts are tailored for me.

I love it here! I have always exercised but never trained. It was time to get help. I couldn't be happier with this training program, the expertise and the attention I get from Ross. I feel I am getting stronger at the right pace without the fear of doing too much that I might give up.
Great gym for anyone who needs some extra motivation to get in the gym and be productive. Ross is truly a professional and knows when to push and when to alter your workouts according to what your body can give. Recommend it to beginners or gym rats who are looking to get a great work out that will make you feel great and look forward to your next workout. Great job RC!
A great atmosphere where everyone gets exactly the program needed to reach their goals. Ross is great at explaining each exercise so you know why he picked it for your program. And the program is ever changing to keep you and your body guessing what's next. Nothing fancy - only great results and great people
