Meeting Diane, Kayci and Jackie was a blessing for me and my family. They took care of me and all my concerns during my pregnancy. Although, I couldn’t birth through them but they made sure I have been heard and understood when I needed someone to walk me through all the naive and stupid questions of pregnancy and birth. The team is kind and they make you feel at home at every visit. I wish I had met them during my first pregnancy. If we have any issue during our pregnancy they back track it to our daily routine and figure out the root cause so we know what to do and what not. I really loved meeting all of them throughout my meetings with them and felt like meeting my friends. If anyone who is looking to have home birth, I highly recommend Diane and Kayci as I met them on most of my visits and can vouch for their support and commitment and understanding they have towards the mom-to-bes. Absolutely miss them and my pregnancy journey with them. They made it quite easier to bear the pains with their support and funny things Diane says!

absolutely recommend 100 times over!! after my first birth experience i wanted an unmedicated home birth for my second, but after moving to a new state 28weeks pregnant, i didn't think i would have been able too. after i called a different midwife locally and was turned down because i was too far along, or missed their threshold, i thought i would try one more place before giving up. these amazing ladies took me in! they've worked with me and my family in so many different ways and i'm so so beyond grateful because i was able to have the birth of my dreams! i met with all the midwives who were all absolutely amazing and sweet, but i met with Kayci more and she was the one who attended my birth and i can't even put into words how incredible she was. my baby got stuck and she handled it so precisely that i didn't even know that had happened until afterwards. she made me and my family feel safe and comfortable. she is amazing!! i felt seen, heard, and educated, even going into it late.

When I found myself pregnant with a surprise third baby, I knew I wanted a midwife, but wasn’t interested in working with the one who had been with me for my second baby, so I began a search for the right person. Jackie was relatively new to the area, but when I interviewed her, I really liked her. Her office was bright, clean, and organized and she and her assistants were the perfect combination of personable and professional. She seemed knowledgeable and full of energy. I don’t doubt that I made the right choice.Jackie ended up getting sick and was not able to be at my actual birth, but Kayci did a great job with the assistance of a backup midwife, whose name escapes me, but who I had met previously at a couple of my appointments.Kayci is a delightful young woman who seems to have been born to be a midwife. My whole family adored her. My middle child, who was four at the time, even told her “I love you,” after the baby was born, which was the cutest thing ever.There were some minor complications during my birth, but they did a great job taking care of my baby and I, and I didn’t need to transfer to the hospital.

Jackie Burgess was a breath of fresh air! When my youngest daughter told me she had decided to have her first baby at home with a local midwife in Reno I was a bit concerned for her and her baby's safe outcome. Even tho she was born at home safely, I didn't know the quality of care or experience of this local group. Jackie was AMAZING!!! During the many questions at prenatal visits through the actual birth Jackie showed up every time with knowledge, professionalism, nurturing and skill!!! Highly recommend, over and over!

I was disappointed in my experience with this midwifery team. I was very transparent that I did not work with my normal midwife because she would be on vacation around my due date and I wanted to develop a relationship with who would be with me during my birth. I directly asked if the team I was working with would be taking vacation on or around my due date. They said no. On my due date I was told she was going to be taking a vacation on my due date and would not be able to be present for my birth. The team I had was GREAT. Sydney was a rockstar, and my daughter came into the world safely, but to have a team made up of someone I met maybe a handful of times and another person I haven’t met at all made me uncomfortable and not what I was looking for in my birthing experience. Midwives deserves their vacations, but I would have appreciated more transparency.
