Heather was recommended to me for purchasing Health benefits. I called her and our first meeting was good. I had recently moved back to the United States, were previously I was a resident of Sweden where my health benefits were free for being a resident of the country. Before that I was receiving Medicaid because of Covid and the previous times I have had health insurance, employment of family had covered. I was extremely nervous and very un educated in purchasing health coverage. I let Heather know that I was very ripe in this process and that I would "need my hand held" through this process. She was "overly" friendly on the phone, and I just let her know what I was looking for - health, dental etc - and that I was primarily looking for a new doctor for check ups and observation. She sent over some plans, and I chose the most affordable one. I did not really understand what I was purchasing, and I just thought I was paying a monthly fee for benefits. We had another meeting on the phone and I gave her lots of information and she said I was all set. Then came endless emails and invoices from insurance companies , that I was not familiar with nor what I was paying for. Again, remember - I am very new to this. I live in Boulder, Colorado and I do not have a vehicle. Her office is in Longmont, Colorado and getting there is quite difficult. I wrote Heather and asked her what all these letter, emails, invoices were for, she impatiently explained on the phone, but I was still completely blind to what I was paying for, how to use the benefits, what went with what and overall , just overwhelmed. She emailed me and stated that she would no longer help me through email and that it would be best to visit her office. This was after all payment was received by the multiple companies I was now dealing with and I still had no clue of how to organize and accept my benefits. The last few exchanges we had were not cordial, helpful or inspiring and there have been a few moments where I have wanted to just cancel my benefits and go with another company. It felt like this was a commission case, and then I was ditched. I would not recommend this agent, company of this experience to anyone. I have figured it out on my own......i think ....and I will continue with my benefits until something else appears, but this was a very frustrating and unexpected experience. Less

She was rude from the start, late to our call appts, made me feel like I was wasting her time, and she rudely questioned my choices once I chose the plan without surebridge (once she found this out, she was extremely disrespectful... must make commission off this part). I had to call customer service with my plan to help me finish (this customer service rep was also taken aback by how much Heather left unfinished).
