CFW Health & Fitness

I joined CFW a little over a year ago and if not the most, one of the most positive things I’ve done for myself and livelihood in years. I’ve worked out in the past, but I never really knew what I was doing, would watch YouTube for workouts, etc. with no real results that would last long term, or only focusing on one aspect of the body. After a year at CFW I’ve seen drastic improvements in how I feel, move, my energy levels, muscle gain and overall comfort and how much easier daily life is. Regularly attending classes 4-5 days a week has become the best routine I have ever done.
The coaches at CFW are absolutely amazing. They are intelligent and really work with you to help you achieve your absolute best. They are quick at tailoring workouts if a certain movement is uncomfortable or if you are nursing/have an injury. The community and other members are also truly fantastic. I have also done some of the ‘z-health’ work that CFW offers for pain-free movement, mobility and strengthening. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who is currently doing physio, has serious injuries, movement issues, etc. I personally saw better results in one or two hours of private sessions compared to months, or in some cases even years of physio.
Prior to joining, many told me about how CrossFit has a bad reputation for getting people hurt. I can attest to having hurt myself too on a few occasions. This was not CFW’s fault, it was me being stupid and pushing myself even when my own body was saying no, and coaches would say to take it a bit lighter and focus on form. Although I can’t speak for other CrossFit gyms, at CFW safety in any movement in my opinion is always taken as utmost priority, it comes down to you whether you listen to it or not.
