I used Handy Heating And Air to replace our heating and air conditioning system and was very pleased with the service I received from beginning to end. I had an annual check up on my air conditioning system by another company and was informed that it was on its last legs and would probably fail sometime this summer. I checked their report with an architect friend of mine and he verified their conclusion. So I met with a salesman from that company about a new system. But I also wanted to get a second opinion Someone at my wife’s work referred Handy Heating and Air. I met with Joseph and decided to go with Handy for two reasons. First Joseph took the time to thoroughly go over all the options with me and explain both the advantages and disadvantages. Without badmouthing the other company, he helped me see that the options and systems they had presented me, were not the best solution for our particular situation. We reviewed the systems and options that Handy could offer and found one that was a better match for our needs and ended up saving us almost $4000 compared to a similar system offered by the other company. After signing the contract with Handy, They explained to me how the installation process would go and it went very well. The installers were very professional. They did everything when and how they said they would. I am completely satisfied and wholeheartedly recommend Handy Heating and Air.

The technician was very pleasant. I do have an issue. The estimate to replace a Ventilation fan motor. $1,090 for a 1 hour motor replacement job? The motor was $218, that means the installation was $872. Not the way to treat an old disabled veteran. I woudl have gladly paid $150 per hour. Also the free estimate cost me $90 to boot. I know you have to make a profit but $872 an hour is way overboard.

Very nice and friendly employees! They worked with me after having to go through some BS with my old home warranty who refused to complete their part & was able to find a compatible heater for the AC unit the home warranty did finally replace. They do finance which takes a lot if stress off my mind. Very quick, from finding compatible equipment to install... what was it a couple of days to wait for the equipment to come in and then only a few hours to install? Great service! Will be calling in future if we need more work, like replacing old ducts.
