I had neck surgery with Dr. Sushil Kumar Basra in November 2025, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the care I received. Dr Basra is AMAZING!!! Professional, AMAZING bedside manner, knowledgeable, shows genuine care for his patients, I have been treated with excellence by all of the staff! I was recommended to Dr. Basra for cervical / lumbar issues... I finally found a Doctor who takes the time to 1. Explain everything in English ( not Dr jargon) 2. Asks if I have any questions and answers them 3. Makes sure I fully understand diagnosis / plan / what I'm thinking of each 4. Takes the time to FULLY explain MRI findings on the screen in a manner that I can actually understand 5. Soooooo much more!I cannot sing his praises enough!!! All I can say is that if you're in need of these services do yourself and body a favor ....make the appointment...anyone short of Dr. Basra is a disservice to yourself... Thank God for Dr. B!

I am incredibly grateful to have been referred to Dr. Basra and Dr. Abbasi! Together they showed tremendous care for the amount of pain I was in and came up with a plan to begin treating me through specialized pain management. Because of them I am in so much less pain than I was less than a week ago and I have hope that my healing will continue. I know they will be here for me each step of the way, even if other intervention is needed, and if surgery is the best option for me in the long run. I have never experienced this type of pain and cannot express my thanks enough for the care I received!!!!

Excellent all around. Dr. Mermelstein is thorough in looking at all aspects of my injury, explains everything clearly, and answers all of my questions in a way that respects my life style and level of activity. The office staff is fantastic from the people at the reception desk who are friendly and helpful, to the X-ray technicians who are so personable and also sensitive to my injury and how to get the images they need while at the same time making sure I am as physically comfortable as possible. I have already recommended Dr Mermelstein and his office to a friend who was looking for a spine doctor.
