I was in martial arts in my 20’s and 30’s. After 35 years I went back because I always had this passion to be back in the dojo refreshing and learning new Kenpo techniques and forms and also joining a kickboxing class. Mr. Ramirez and the black belt instructors are patient with me. I take it at my pace and we have a great workout and fun.🤩

I can’t say enough good things about my martial arts instructor Ramiro. He is incredibly professional, attentive, intuitive, and genuinely cares about his students both inside and outside of training. What stands out the most is how understanding and patient he is, especially with my back issues. He always makes sure I train safely and is mindful about helping me avoid further injury or pain while still encouraging me to grow and improve.You can truly tell that teaching martial arts is his passion. He loves what he does, and it shows in the way he invests in his students and wants them to succeed in all aspects of life, not just in martial arts. He creates an environment that feels supportive, motivating, and welcoming.He’s also very personable and flexible with my schedule, which means a lot because my work hours can be demanding and unpredictable. Despite that, he has always been accommodating and encouraging.More than just an instructor, he feels like a trusted friend or family member who genuinely wants the best for the people around him. I’m extremely grateful for his guidance, support, and dedication, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled, caring, and passionate martial arts instructor.

Ramiro is One of the best teachers I have had. He teaches various styles from kempo to kickboxing to fma. His many years in the martial arts community has shapes him into a very skilled teacher, One who is respectful and patient. He understands how to make things simple and fun. If you want to learn self-defense in any of the style he teaches, I would highly recommend him. He actually teaches combat application. And if you wanna just take kickboxing for fitness you can do that also if thats your goal. I would highly recommend Ramiro. My wife and I love his attitude. He always pushes you to be better in life not just martial arts. He is a good role model for everyone who joins his class from the children to adults.

Legacy martial arts feels like home. I immediately liked Ram the first day we met face to face. I love his energy and positive vibe. Ram and the students welcomed me immediately and I felt that aloha spirit in each and every one of their students. Ram was even generous to let Island Warriors Villasin Balintawak use their space to host a seminar on the weekend. I and my fellow classmates feel so grateful and honored to be a part of Legacy MA/Koa Kenpo Ohana!

This is an excellent place to train. I'm glad we discovered when we attended a seminar being hosted here for Filipino Martial Arts. The facility is clean, there's a good amount of space, a lot of bags, good mats, full mirrors, fans, and when it comes to summer in San Antonio the window tint to keep the place cool in the summer is a lifesaver. I also appreciate the privacy the tint offers. The owner has a real passion for martial arts. Location wise, there's a lot of parking and it's easy to get to, with a variety of food options nearby. Will keep coming back!

Please join this dojo. You will not regret it. The sensei is not only a professional expert but someone who will encourage and support you in your martial arts journey. He is about showing and teaching you the correct forms and techniques found in Kempo Martial Arts. I have barely started coming to this dojo but already feel like I am part of a new martial arts family.

When I first visited, I felt very welcomed by the staff. I had a lot of questions about the training they offered and how it compared to nearby martial arts dojos. They politely addressed all my concerns and I never felt pressured to sign up with them. They actually encouraged me to have 2 free classes before signing up. I've been going consistently for about 6 months now and I really enjoy it. The sensei will push you but that's only because he wants you to give your best efforts. I highly recommend this dojo.

I've been training at Legacy Martial Arts for about 2 months now, primarily doing kickboxing, and it's been an amazing experience! I've seen significant improvement in my movements, durability, strength, and flexibility since I started. The price is very affordable for the quality of training you get. Coach Ramirez, the instructor, is incredibly knowledgeable and pushes you to reach your goals. He creates a supportive atmosphere and really helps you improve. The group of people that attend are friendly and create a positive environment, making each class enjoyable. Overall, it's been a great experience and I highly recommend it!

You will learn leadership and camaraderie plus an overall experience of self defense, ancient Martial Arts weapons and fighting strategies. I have been training under Mr. Ramirez and Mr. Estrada for kickboxing since March. I am 71 years old and have enjoyed my experience at LEGACY MARTIAL ARTS. Both senseis have been patient in helping me meet my health goals. They are careful in making sure that I am using proper form and technique.

I am so glad I made the phone call . My daughter has progressed more than I could have imagined. She gets excited to go to class and practices what she can at home.
