I needed some milling done on a solid oak facia piece from a custom media center I had built in 1984.I called around, and just reached office staff at several companies who all quickly declined.I called Lawrence and left a short message on his website and 20 min. later he called me back and then told me to bring the piece to his shop and he's help me out.He milled the piece perfectly with no damage to the surrounding finish, and then gave me 2 brass L-brackets and screws to better secure the piece in the future.Lawrence is a real pro with a complete shop who cares....a rarity in this day and age. I had trouble finding someone to help with my cabinet needs. The space I had was an odd measurement and I could not get anyone to hear that. They all wanted to use pre-made and standard size cabinets. But the schematics all showed the cabinets were going to be 1/2" too long. I stumbled upon Lawrence's google page and decided to give him a call. He is straightforward and honest. He was the first cabinet provider to insist he see the site first hand. He measured everything himself. He tells it like it is and was quick to point out the challenges we were facing with the construction of my home that was built in the 1990's. He also explained how we were going to remedy an meet the challenges that the end result would be a properly built and installed cabinet that will last for years. We discussed options and he provided a price that he was true to. The installation went smooth and I have a beautiful custom built cabinet that fit like a glove. I already asked him to build my next project and will ask him to do the next 2 that are on my agenda later this year and beyond.

Run …. don’t walk away from this business. After nine months of fighting we still don’t have Lawrences portion h the. Ones ted and paid job finished. We were forced to hire another cabinet contractor to finish the home and all of their work was done in 4 weeks at much higher quality and completely to our satisfaction. One closet was wrong they apologized and fixed it the same week Lawrence literally has a never ending stream of excuses, he had to measure most things three or four times, lost measurements, lost drawings, and asked us to measure things for him and then blamed us if things didn’t fit. He argued demeaned and frustrated all of the other sub contractors who refuse to work with him or be in the home when he is there. Truly the worst decision on this remodel was to contract with Lawrence. He refuses to fix his mistakes and refuses to give back thousands of dollars due to so us we had to hire another team to complete the home and fix his mistakes.

Lawrence and his team were exceptional in their attention to detail, cabinet design, construction and installation. The cabinets in the substantial bar area in our home in Rancho Mirage needed to be replaced, but it was a challenge to accomplish the task while not removing the very thick granite surfaces already in place. Several other cabinet makers were daunted by the challenge. Not Lawrence. The finished product of the bamboo cabinets were exceptional. I would highly recommend him for any cabinet project.
