I am just now realizing that I never left a review for our cake order from April! 😳 I am beyond pleased with how the cake turned out! It was for our daughters first birthday and was everything that we had asked for. All of our guest were in awe of the cake. I will definitely contact Cakes In Vermont for future orders! The taste was good, but unfortunately the cakes we ordered barely looked how we asked for them, which was super disappointing as she has some very pretty cakes. My husband and I paid almost $700 and actually expected the cakes we ordered to be correct (surprise surprise 🙄🙄) and for the cake to actually be delivered on time(it was over 3+ hours late). The top tier wasn’t even connected to the middle tier, the swirls were completely wrong, the leaves weren’t supposed to be multi colored which caused some of them to be a gross brown in places. On top of that, the cake was smooshed in a couple places. We had a second, smaller cake that had a ‘plaque’ on it that should have said “The hunt is over”, instead it said “Man hunt is over” which is disappointing as we paid extra to have it on there. Attached are pictures of what we received and one picture is what it should have been. Needless to say after trying to get some of our money back, and getting very little back (again almost $700), we will never be using her for any of our cakes again. We did get a very small refund of it back, yes, but it was definitely not what we asked for whatsoever. Less

I was very disappointed with my cake. I send a photo of what I wanted and it has a few similarities but what she made is very different. It didn’t have the age on top, the side decorations were not correct and instead of grave digger it said gold digger:( it was $130 and we were disappointed with the decorations on it. I would have rather her be honest if she couldn’t make what I ordered.

Such a lovely lady; attentive, thoughtful, and replies immediately. Her selection of cakes are incredible, and actually taste better than they look. We'll definitely be calling on her again!!!

For my birthday my husband contacted Cakes in VT and ordered the coconut dream cake and asked to customize it to add in some lemon filling. Tammy was super responsive and creatively put the cake together. It is beyond what I could have imagined and so delicious. I highly recommend and hope to eat more cakes from here again!
