I recently purchased my first house through Stonebridge and I really valued their professional and considerate service. I had been searching for a house for 18 months, I had liaised with 15+ local firms, seen c.40 houses. And, if I was to sell my house today, I'd choose Shaz and Afzal to represent me without a second thought (see reasons below). The house I've bought wasn't my first interaction with Stonebridge, I was close to buying one a year before but was unsuccessful. It was after this initial meet that I came to respect how Stonebridge works. On both occasions, I found them to be kind and honest (can't say the same about several other agents). Importantly, I came to really respect how they looked after their client's interests (i.e. the seller) whilst being measured and professional with buyers (i.e. me). During my journey, I came across local agents who were very happy and quick to sacrifice their customer's interests to simply secure a quick sale (or had the cheek to openly ask for a back hander to deal at a lower price). Had an appointment. Went there 5 minutes earlier. Waited till the agreed time, Rung the agent 10 minutes after , and was told they couldn’t make it to the appointment.
