We recently completed a fairly large backyard project with Ross and Jack’s, including a new patio (with the pergola completed by another company), removal of old landscaping, repurposing existing plants where possible, and the addition of multiple trees, bushes, shrubs, and new sod.The entire process was truly stress-free, and it was such a pleasure working with Michael and his crew. During the design phase, Michael really listened to what we wanted and was incredibly responsive, updating and adjusting the plans based on our feedback.My thumb is far from green, but I know what I like visually! Michael was able to take that vision, select plants that worked beautifully together, and bring the whole backyard to life.The crew was incredibly professional, polite, and hardworking throughout the entire project. We couldn’t be happier with the finished result and our overall experience with Ross and Jack’s. We’ll absolutely use them again when we’re ready to redo the landscaping in the front of our house!

Ross & Jack's did a fantastic job installing drainage lines around our patio and grading our lawn. Price wise they were on par with other estimates we received, however they stood out because they took the time to really explain the reasoning behind their recommendations and how the installation would take place.The work crew was prompt, friendly, very detail oriented. They made short work of the trench digging while not damaging any of the surrounding hardscape and made sure they had everything packed away at the end of the day.In the middle of the project we had a storm roll through and even though the pipe wasn't fully connected yet we got to see it do its job and divert the water away from from the house, so we'll know the finished job will do what we need it to.Also, that storm was pretty rough with tornadoes in the area. I was happy to see they took care of their crew by making sure they were all accounted for and got somewhere safe.100% would hire again.

Ross & Jack's Landscaping provides superior service. Alex and Mark did 2 walk throughs of the property to assess what could and couldn't be completed. They also explained their reasoning behind things we couldn't do, should wait to do, and/or should do. The appointment was booked very quickly after that.We were specifically looking to get a total yard refresh and it truly transformed the curb appeal.I appreciate how thorough the team was and how genuine and friendly they are.We would definitely recommend Ross and Jack's!

We were so happy to have found Ross & Jacks after trying to maintain our backyard landscaping ourselves. They cleaned our yard up beautifully and recommended new plants to keep everything looks great. The whole teams was very professional and easy to deal with. I wanted a simple retaining wall to complete my front landscaping. Everyone was very professional and responsive from the beginning to the end of the process.. All my questions were answered before the project started. The crew went above and beyond by doing some extras the day of the job. Overall a great experience!

We were referred to Ross & Jack’s by friends here in Elmhurst, and I’m so glad we went with them.They buried a couple of our downspout lines along with our sump pump discharge line, routing everything cleanly to the backyard. The difference is incredible—it looks so much cleaner and really improved the overall appearance of our yard. They also installed new sod over the builder’s trench, which had always been a problem area where grass wouldn’t grow because of the shade. After a tree came down, it finally made sense to fix it, and it turned out great.The biggest reason I’d recommend Ross & Jack’s is the people. Mike, their GM, was outstanding from start to finish. His communication was prompt, he was always patient with my many questions, and he never tried to upsell us. In fact, he often suggested better, more cost-effective solutions than what I originally had in mind. As a bonus, he was always kind and patient with my kids whenever they wanted to come outside and watch or ask questions.The installation crew was equally impressive—professional, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. They worked two full days in nearly 100-degree heat and never cut corners.We’ll absolutely use Ross & Jack’s again for future landscaping projects and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and exceptional customer service.

Couldn’t be happier with the work this team did on our yard. They were punctual, professional, and clearly took pride in the details. Communication was great throughout the entire process.
