In one of their very educating videos, Dr. Miguel explained the importance of the atlas or C1 alignment. I realized that my recurring tension headaches and migraines now have a compelling root cause. So I decided to contact N8 and also talked to my previous DC that I will be shifting to N8 Upper Cervical. After Dr. Miguel's preliminary assessment of my condition (x-ray, infrared test, etc.), my atlas was adjusted the next meeting (it was a very gentle adjustment, no popping or cracking). It took only 4 maintenance sessions to finally clear my head of brain fog, dizziness, and headaches. By the time I finished the entire program, I never had any incidence of tension headaches and migraines. And in case whenever a symptom of tension headache started to develop (usually at the end of the tiring day), I learned to manage and prevent it from progressing by applying neck exercises. My sleep improved as well. I am very thankful to Dr. Miguel for genuinely taking care of me. The pain made me really cry and felt helpless. I felt physically drained and weak. I had a great deal of trouble falling asleep too. No matter how tired I am I still had a hard time falling asleep or I easily get awake. I was just really exhausted most of the time.By chance, I was chatting with Doc Miguel's wife and she mentioned that he was opening a clinic here in Alabang, that is how I was able to find out about N8 Upper Cervical Chiropractic.I was used to the painful physiotherapy I used to have before to "alleviate" my back pain. We were so desperate and running out of options until we saw a video and a post about N8 Upper Cervical Chiropractic thru a Trigeminal Neuralgia group on Facebook. My wife was diagnosed with TN for almost 2 years now we tried almost everything we see on the internet to ease her pain from the basic Cold and Hot compressed, turmeric tea, red light therapy, etc. We also went to a Neurologist and the Doctor prescribed a maintenance medicine for her that worked for a couple of days but did cause an allergic reaction after taking it for 9 days and turned out to be Stevens-Johnson Disease, it nearly killed her. After that incident, we tried to find an alternative medicine and natural way to ease her pain because of what happened with the prescribed medicine.Finding out about N8 Upper Cervical Chiropractic is a blessing for us, the staff is very nice and approachable. I heard about this clinic from the friend of my daughter who was going to the Alabang clinic for her scoliosis. Dr. Mike Flores was the one who interviewed me and took an X-ray of my Atlas (the top bone on your neck). The overall concept of the clinic is that if your Atlas is misaligned, it affects not only your bones but your organs as well. Dr. Mike was able to help me align my Atlas over 12 sessions and the pain from my lower back has gone. When I was young I used to go to a local bonesetter who would crack my bones into place but Dr. Mike was very scientific and gentle but firm with the tools he used on me. The next day I called their Alabang branch, they had no available appointment slots so I was glad that I got one at their Makati branch. I rushed to Makati that same day and had my initial consultation there. I found relief that day after 45 minutes. The pressure that I felt inside my head subsided. Last Tuesday, I continued with my next session at Alabang. Changes after that session were that I slept better and have not had a migraine attack even with my usual triggers. Yesterday was my third visit and my problem was this pain in my neck. I had been tied up with work and studies for the past week that I lacked proper sleep. After the session, I felt better again. My experience with chronic pain started in late 2010 with a feeling of heaviness in the left shoulder, severe aches in the lower back and a terrible stiff neck. There were weird tingling sensation, shooting pain and numbness in my arms and legs the following year. I asked to be excused from work and thought of getting some rest will leave the pain off. The orthopedist which I first visited, referred me to a physiatrist believing she could help. This is where I learned about CFS. Series of PT sessions and exercises, pain reliever and supplements were prescribed and yes, the discomfort gradually decreased for quite some time. Months passed. Pain recurred making me weak and unproductive at work. I went back to the same pain management physician and repeated the whole procedure, however, this did not alleviate the discomfort I was experiencing. Years passed. The agony worsened as I have observed that there were also changes in my body, then was diagnosed with fibromyalgia by a neurologist in 2013.
