I wanted a gym that wasn’t clicky or gossipy and definitely drama free. I wanted a experience that would last a long time. I wanted to really know how to do workouts the right way without feeling pressure from anyone. Not only did they meet my expectations but they have changed my outlook on working out and building muscle and feeling better also letting me know to be very patient and kind to myself. This gym is about personal growth along with physical growth. They only encourage doing the right thing for me. They don’t compare anybody to eachother. The only competition is yourself there. Everyone there is super friendly and approachable. The coaches are very knowledgeable and happy to teach you proper form of every excercise, which is probably what i liked the most. Classes are usually fairly small groups (3-5 people) so you never feel invisible to the coach.

My goal was to stay active and be as healthy as I could be throughout my pregnancy and I did! Some days were a struggle, especially toward the end of my pregnancy, but with the support of the coaches and the members of the box I went further then I thought I could go. I not only stayed active throughout my pregnancy, but my total weight gain was 15 pounds lighter than my first pregnancy. I joined Clamtown Crossfit a few months ago and I love it! I’m not a gym buff and I had previously ALWAYS wasted my money at the gym and failed to go but at Clamtown I go every week! The work outs are great, the trainers are so knowledgeable and fun and the class camaraderie is amazing.

Every class I've attended from the 6am to the 7:30 PM class has been full of positive vibe people in every stage of fitness. This group is very passionate about what they do, I have worked out in a regular gym for a year and only lost 10 lbs, with the help of this group in just 6 weeks I lost 20 lbs. It has been 2 months on my own and I have kept the weight off and continued to loose another 15 lbs following their diet and implimenting their expercises into my regular gym! I joined the challenge class in January and I will never stop coming to this gym. The coaches are amazing. They know everyone’s names, goals, weakness and strengths and work with you to become healthier and stronger. The instruction is unbeatable. It’s not a competition between members. I recently completed my 6-week challenge at Clamtown Crossfit, and the results surpassed all my expectations. I started my crossfit journey on October 8th 2018. A Since the very beginning, there has been nothing but encouragement. Coaches Mark,Sara, Jessica, Tracey, and Heidi were all on hand that first day. I will never forget Coach Tracey beside me the entire time, telling me I could do it, just one more, it will get easier. Those words kept me going back. Even at the hardest parts of the workout, just having your coach and fellow participants telling you that "you got this" makes a huge difference. When I went on hiatus for a couple of months. The text messages, cards and Facebook messages all helped me to get back into my workouts. Coach Cindy, Jessica, Sara, Mark and Bob were all there encouraging me to get back in the box. Starting a challenge at just the right time helped too. Clamtown crossfit is more than a gym or facility. It's a friends and family gathering place. My kids can't wait for their days to go to class. My teenage son is happy I signed him up so he can be better prepared for Spring sports. My boyfriend who said he'd never go to a class with me....is now particularly in the challenge with me, which is helping us both become fitter, closer, and being more of a partnership. I love working out at Clamtown. Every session is an amazing workout and I can see the benefits continuously in my everyday life. All the coaches are great and my favorite is Coach Cindy. She is so encouraging and makes you want to do your best!
