I've never felt more welcomed in a gym than I do at the compound. Everyone there is ready to help with a spot, advice, or whatever you may need. This is definitely a great place that I look forward to going too

The facility is well maintained and the owners are continuously looking to renovate and add more equipment to enhance the space. Great weight training gym to come in and get your workout in, even 24/7. No nonsense space with all the equipment you will ever need. Everyone is friendly and will even answer a few questions without any attitude. Will definitely be training here from now on

Came here with my personal trainer and loved the atmosphere. Everyone minds their business and is working towards their own goals. Way more machines than your typical commercial gym to achieve those gains. Gym lives up to the hype.

Best gym in Chicago, hands down! This gym has all the weights you need. The clientele is also very friendly and accepting, so whether a you are beginner, intermediate, or well-seasoned lifter, there is a high level of support, unlike at some commercial gyms. People will also walk up to you and start a conversation. Overall, great place to train!

This is a great gym. I always get a great workout at all of their classes, and the instructors constantly push you to reach your maximum potential. I cannot say enough great things about this gym. The staff is super, and they are also very involved in the community.

I've had multiple bad interactions with the management of this gym. The first one I ignored, the second I forgave, and finally I had a bad third experience where I decided to reach out to them for a powerlifting coach. The only response I got was "You have to be a member to use one of our coaches." And then never actually provided a reference. Okay, I figured, but you also could have said "here's a great coach, fyi you have to be a member". I'm also a physician so money isn't an issue. I responded saying I understand and was met with silence, still no reference after multiple emails. I ended up finding a great powerlifting coach at Quads (amazing gym and management BTW!). So I sent another email letting them know I found one elsewhere and they responded within 2 hours. For over a week and multiple emails they wouldn't give me helpful information but he can respond in 2 hours? I wont bore you with the previous bad interactions but all were with the management. If you're looking for a good gym meant for lifting then check out Quads, where management is kind, responsive, and love to work with you. Their rates and equipment are also superior. Less

I had a rather rigorous workout. No other gym compares to this place. It's like stepping into the strongman's tent at the circus freakshow, they have old and new machines alike, and every one is massive and effective at what it does.

Love the community atmosphere in this gym. Lots of speciality bars (safety squat, cambered, football, duffalo, texas squat, etc) for people wanting to change up their training.

Probably the best gym in Chicago, if you live on the north side and aren't training here you are doing yourself a disservice and leaving gains on the table. The atmosphere, the people, their mindset towards training, and the community they've built is unmatched.

24/7 access makes this place great for any schedule. Lots of great equipment. Definitely worth dropping in to check this place out.

It's the Quads of the northwest side. Gyms like CBC are rare these days so they are truly a gem when you have one. A must stop for all the area physique/strength culture. It's a safe haven and perfect alternative to the massive unbearable crowds of commercial establishments.

Literally one of my favorite gyms in the country. And I've been to the east and west coast Mecca, armbrust pro gym, destination Dallas and more- and this gym just cuts into your soul and makes you push weight.
