I am not an athlete but I have tried to stay active all of my life. From specific exercises, to walking, to aerobics, I’ve done what I can over the years to join or even organize a class of my own. About 10 years ago, (when I was 55 years old) I walked into a local crossfit gym. I had heard of CrossFit but didn’t really know what it was. Fortunately, I was introduced to a fun, safe and functional style of exercise that challenged me physically and appealed to me, socially. Fast forward through seven more years and three different coaches, I realized that this was truly the best fitness program I had ever found. I have now been an active member of the LastRep Crossfit gym for two years. I will be 66 this December and I feel great. The very best things about this gym are 1) attentive and careful coaching, 2) people of all ages, backgrounds and interests who encourage each other (my tribe!!), and 3) I am safely maintaining overall strength, stability and mobility in a clean gym and fun environment with a bunch of like-minded people.Last Rep CrossFit Gym is for everybody. Big, small, young, middle-aged, old(er), fit, unfit, weak or strong. We don’t compete against each other. We stay healthy and do it together.Best gym experience I have ever had!! Best “hobby” I’ve ever pursued!!
