Great gym, well run. Staff are nice, members too. Steam room, sauna, towels and locker service.. Its not huge like p.o.f. but they have everything you need. Always leave feeling good and refreshed. This is also the kind of gym you can meet/be friendly without it being weird like pof. The music they play is not quite as bad as pof 😂 i highly recommend this gym. Theres no hidden fees. you're not locked i. You, can just pay month by month. Also, discounts if you are taking classses-student , military. Very glad i joined. Less

The amenities are fantastic and I always felt welcomed by their amazing staff each time I walked in the door. The gym was always clean and never overcrowded. Visiting the area from upstate NY for a vacation with some family and friends, Nikki was very helpful, and hospitable, when it came to having me in her gym. They have a very reasonable price for 1, 2, or 3 day passes to use their facility. Would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area. Less

Far from the most lavish gym in the world, but gets the job done. 5 stars since I see the staff actively making an effort to keep the place clean and pretty much all the equipment works as it should. I've been to "premium" fitness clubs with half the service/maintenance upkeep. Less

Great no nonsense gym for weight lifters. If you're visiting Savannah and your hotel is in the area, this is the gym to be at. They offer daily passes for $10 a day. Staff were very nice and asked if i brought my own water as the water fountain was down during my visit. Will definitely be here when I'm visiting again! Less

This was an amazing gym, especially for the drop in price! It was $10 for a day pass and they had complementary towels, locks (for lockers), bottled water and the facilities were clean! It wasn't overcrowded and they had a variety of fitness equipment. I am very impressed though it was a little hard to find initially! Directions for getting there: there is a smoothie/health food restaurant and go in their entrance and head to the right. Head forward and down the stairs and you will find them! Less

Went to this gym for 2 days while visiting Savannah and had a great experience. The gym has a lot of thoughtful touches (complimentary water, deodorant wipes, etc). They have group fitness classes and a lot of equipment to get a good workout in. Monique at the front desk was amazing and so accommodating. She remembered everyone's name. IT WASXGREAT COMING BACK TO THIS GYM!!! This will be my go-to gym every time I go to savannah. The punching bags were probably my favorite things but then again you got all the bells and whistles of free weights and machines. Visiting Savannah for a couple months for work and this place has been a life saver. Great and friendly staff, clean facility with everything you need for a good workout and then some (dry sauna & steam room). I figured being downtown that it would always be packed but not the case at all, even during peak hours I have no problem getting a machine. I will definitely miss this gym when I head back home! This place is great! I don't live in Savannah, but stay at a specific hotel every time I am in town solely for their relationship to FoB. Steam room and Sauna are great. All the 'other' gym equipment that you need is there; kettle bells, ropes, foam rollers, etc. Only small negative is it is the basement. They can't control that obviously, but daylight is not there. Had a Bridal Boot Camp class with Madison H & it was amazing! We had seven girls and we all got an excellent sweat! Madison’s positive and encouraging attitude kept us all going. Fitness on Broughton has been my gym for 4 years since I moved to downtown Savannah and I have watched it go through a transformation. At first, I only went to this gym because of the location... the customer service was lacking - very few people were friendly, and the equipment was constantly having issues. I noticed a huge change as soon as Denise became the manager. Denise really cares and hires friendly and considerate people. I regularly attend the 5:30 classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday led by Sean (TRX and Insanity.) I love that these are included in my membership. I continued to go to these classes until I was 38 weeks pregnant, and Sean and the rest of the staff were so accommodating and welcoming and never discouraged me from working out while pregnant, and would help me find modifications when necessary. I feel like family with most of the evening staff and made sure to come show off my "fitness baby" when he was born. I also had no problem putting a freeze on my membership via e-mail for a couple months after my baby was born and I was unable to work out. The gym suffered an unfortunate setback in the last year or so when equipment was damaged by leaks from Starbucks, but Denise did everything she could to make it right as quickly as possible. All members got a free month to help make up for the situation that was really out of her control. On the plus side, a lot of the gym was redone when this happened, so it is better than ever. If you previously had a bad experience with FOB, I highly recommend that you give it another chance, as it is truly a different gym than it was a few years ago. The customer service is great, the downtown location is great, and the classes are great. Less

Air conditioning broken for over a week. Hotter and more humid inside than outside. Towels thin and hard. Sweat so much after shower without a/c that you need a shower after you leave. Less
