The trainers/owners are very helpful, they're good at listening to what your needs are and make changes accordingly. Since starting I can say after 3 months I've lost nearly 15lbs and have noticed changes in my workouts and day to day activities. I'm doing things I never thought was possible for me and the biggest surprise is how much I actually enjoy this! Update! It’s been a year and 3 months and I’ve seen so much progress. It’s not about how much I can lift but about my body handling things better. I’m still amazed on what I can do that was a struggle before. Update 11/2024 I've stuck with it for 2 years now and there's no looking back. The continuous support from the coaches, staff, and community has kept me motivated! This has been the most positive experience I have had at a gym. I struggled going to the gym/ joining gyms due to some internal battles, and now that couldn’t be further from the truth. I feel like my progress is genuine and I’m proud. I understand why everyone says it’s a “lifestyle change”. It’s been really nice to know that this is me and I am strong in more ways than I previously thought.

I’ve been attending this gym now for a little over a month. I’ve really enjoyed every session and how easy going everyone is. The coaches are able to progress and make modifications as needed with a diverse group of people. The fact that there’s 4 people training max per coach means you get a lot of support as well!

I could really tell that everyone was invested in the success of the individuals in the group. In my time there I could really tell that my performance significantly improved. I'm down 10lbs, with their nutrition advice and my PR's went up in all areas especially with my RDL and Sumo squats. The areas I really wanted to work on, that Sal remembered from our initial meeting. It is honestly the best gym I've ever been to. During the initial consultation, Coach Sal kept it extremely real with me. I love that they care about getting a return on your investment type deal by sending you reminders on upcoming workouts, and providing you nutritional plans and recipes. Day 1 was today early morning and I went very well!

Sometimes it’s my favorite part of the day and sometimes it can feel like a daily chore you don’t want to do, but have to. Lately it had been feeling like the latter. This year I signed up for Watchdog’s Strength’s 12 Week Men’s Challenge program and truly an enjoyable challenge it has been. Prior to starting the challenge I felt uninspired and aimless with no real personal gym goals in mind other than to maintain/keep going. I would go to gym and do what I know and simply get my training/exercise session out of the way for the day. Coach Sal’s program definitely has given me daily gym goals to hit, as well as long term goals to aim for and expect. It is nice going into the gym with a program already made and per my logs tailored to me/for me to pull up on Watchdog’s training app and get right to it. I don’t have to think about what I worked on the other days and what I have to train today. It’s all there in the app/program to review and log super easy. The 12 Week Challenge has had me learn and try new exercises I hadn’t done prior, so that has been very fun and exciting to switch things up. It’s good to feel sore again and I’m very happy to have purpose and inspiration in the gym again. I’ve been enjoying the big pumps and looking forward to insane gains. I’m nearing the end of my first month at Watchdog Strength Gym for Muscles, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I do the small group classes and they’re perfect: you get a lot of individualized training and correction, and the group dynamics are always welcoming and supportive. **10 Month Update** WOW. I love this gym so much. It just keeps getting better and better. It feels like you're working out with friends, because you are, but they are so knowledgeable, patient, and inspiring. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You're worth the investment! ORIGINAL POST: I switched to Watchdog Strength after being a long time customer of a HIIT based gym, where I just wasn't seeing the progress I wanted to see. I was struggling to overcome the fear from an old injury, and was scared to move "big" weight. I was definitely intimidated to try such a serious gym, but it's actually not pretentious and it feels very supportive. Sal really seemed to understand the fear I was carrying from my old injury, and get this... he remembered, because he actually cares. He and Cristy invested, immediately, from day 1. I’ve been a part of gyms and have done cross fit. However I’ve never worked with someone so dedicated to push you to your best! It was very intimidating at first but the support you get from coach Sal and the others in the group is beyond anything I could have imagined!
My husband gifted me a one month personal training with Sal! Let me tell you, I love watchdog strength. I finished up my one month and will be staying for a few more. My goal was to grow my glutes and within a month and a half, I’ve already seen such a major difference!

This is not a big chain type of gym, so you’re not just a number; you get personal attention, people know each other’s names and cheer each other on, and your coaches actually care about you and your progress. Sal and Cristy are knowledgeable and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Having coaches who know what they are doing and who provide feedback along the way takes the guess work out of exercise, so I can just show up and work out. It’s easy to schedule training sessions and the gym itself is clean and well equipped. At present, I’m doing a 50 day challenge where I get to work out 5 days a week as well as receive nutrition guidance/meal planning. Three weeks in and I’m already feeling stronger and leaner. We all need someone to watch out for our health. Watchdog strength is the place for that. I’ve personally seen my parents and my health dramatically increase. Also this gym is for everyone and that’s an awesome feeling because I know sometimes fitness can be intimidating. Y’all church them out!

I joined on a black Friday special and I haven’t turned back. Sal is an AMAZING trainer. He motivates and continually pushes me to another level. I have never seen that in a trainer. He really cares about you!! I give him 5 out of 5.
Not all gyms gyms are created equal! Here it’s about personalized training and nutrition plans. I am beyond thankful for this place. This training regimen allowed me to process through my grief and become overall much healthier. My sleep, eating and energy are finally all sinked up making my life with a 5 year an adventure where the play never ends.
Started at the gym with Sal & Cristy back in June. Working with them consistently has not only helped me lose weight but also increase muscle mass. They also help with proper weight lifting form along with proper nutrition to help reach your personal goals. Great coaches, great establishment!

Working out at Watchdog Strength has really been a great experience. I was very hesitant to start lifting weights but it has been a game changer. I feel so much stronger! It’s been over 1yr and a half since I’ve been coming to Watchdog Strength since then I have become stronger and continue to raise the weight on the bar with the help of Coach Sal and Coach Juan. I started meal tracking and increasing my daily steps by adding 2-3 miles walks a few times a week. I started intermittent fasting to help boost my metabolism. I’ve put in the work and my only regret is that I didn’t start this years ago. This gym is like family. I’ve made lifelong friends and gotten such great support! It’s been life changing. If I can do it, so can you! Give them a try and you won’t regret it! Original review- I’ve been to gyms before and I’ve tried so many things to get into better shape and lose weight for my health… but this is the first time I’ve been able to stick to a plan and it’s more than working out for me. The support and encouragement I get at Watchdog Strength makes all the difference in the world- I’ve lost over 40 pounds in less than 6 months and I’ve gained strength I thought I’d lost years ago. I’m in my mid 40s and I’m finally putting my health first and I love it! I feel better, sleep better and have learned so much about safely lifting weights and listening to my body, along with learning about nutrition and lifestyle changes. Sal keeps me on track and still makes it fun to be there. Together, he and his wife Cristy have created a fun and welcoming place for everyone to work at their level. Absolutely an amazing experience and I plan to stay with this place for as long as possible. I walk in and know what my workouts are and my lifts have only gotten better and better. Where to start…. I love coming to this gym! I have learned so much from Sal and Christy! If you are thinking about joining just do it! You won’t regret it! Sal is very knowledgeable and is always there to help out!! You will get stronger and have a great time here!! 10 out of 10 will recommend!
The training /coaching here yields results!!! Covid wasted away my muscles i was soo weak ,had no stamina. From barely being able to complete workouts to now, just reached my personal best Benching 195#, squatting 200 #easy . huge improvement for a 52 year old. i started my wife on the program also. I recommend this business.

This gym is about you. Your needs, your goals. There's no leaderboard or big class that can be really intimidating. There's you, the coach and maybe 3 other people. Your program is about you, it's specialized around your goals or injuries or whatever you need. You'll learn how to do the movements safely and consistently so that if you decide to move on to somewhere else you have a strong foundation to build from. There's no fitness models. It's just people who wanted to get stronger and take care of their body. Give the place a try. Or you can keep not going to that other gym you're paying for. Love the way the coaches adjust to you. Not like a regular gym where it’s the generic training/ workout for everyone.
This gym and all the coaches are top quality! The coaches really made me feel comfortable while stepping out of my comfort zone. The custom programs they created helped me attain my goals. I’ve been a member for over a year and will continue working towards my goals with this gym.

With a workout plan tailored to my needs, I've been going 5 days a week, something I'd never think I could do for a gym, and recently benched 100lbs, another thing I thought impossible. The small class sizes are really great, I get some quality one-on-one time with the trainers and get to see familiar faces and motivate each other through our process. You have to check it out.
