We had our initial assessment with Nancy due to problems with separation anxiety experienced by our cockapoo Milo. She was really easy to talk things through with and understood our situation. we’ve had one session with Nancy for our 8 month old doberman and couldn’t recommend her enough! we’ve learned basic commands that luna was stubborn following, we’re practicing safe on lead training and general behaviour training and already noticed such a huge difference! Less

Nancy has an amazing way with dogs. I thought my 7yr old cockapoo had complex difficulties and would never be ‘cured’. He has serious separation anxiety and has never been left with anyone but my Mum. He becomes very loud and ‘squeaks’ constantly in the car with excitement as well as in public areas to indicate he wants to leave. He has ruined many staycations with his controlling behaviour (which we know is our fault as we’ve not know how to control it!!). Nancy has taught us techniques to manage his behaviour from walking nicely to heal to being able to leave him with her and enabling him to feel safe, settled and secure in her home. I would have never imagined how we could deal with his non-stop squeaky. We’ve tried all sorts but in just one car ride Nancy showed us ways to distract him and praise him when he was quiet. I’m really confident that we will be very soon living with a much less controlling, peaceful, confident and settled dog due to Nancy’s incredible methods. Best trainer/behaviourist ever! I have been having issues with my 2 year old labrador, Marley. I have had a previous trainer but it didn't help at all as they weren't trying to get to the bottom of it unlike Nancy. Nancy is a miracle worker, I never thought we would be able to walk marley off lead on the field with good recall but now we can. We don't have to worry anymore of him running over to other dogs. There's still work to be done with loose lead walking as he is very stubborn. Nancy, came over in her spare time to give marley extra help and also met us on the field with her gorgeous little Oslo. I contacted Nancy for help with some issues I am having with my 11 month old working cocker Barney, main issues being jumping up at people, pulling on the lead and recall off lead (which he had as a young pup but now seems to have lost). Nancy arrived promptly and started the session immediately addressing the issues individually by observing how I acted and reacted then explaining why we had the issues. She gave me advice and support through her demonstrating changes then guiding me through to follow new routines. I felt much more confident at the end of the session knowing with consistency and patience these issues did have solutions . Nancy's approach is very positive and supportive, she not only advises what you should be doing but also explains why. We were also sent WhatsApp messages afterwards covering a run down of the session so we can follow it without having to try and remember it all at the time, which is so useful for myself and a others who walk Barney for consistency. Just had our first session with Nancy after reaching out to her following some fighting issues with our two JRTs, who had previously gotten along so well but have now started attacking each other. Nancy spent time building a relationship with the dogs putting them at ease before assessing them. She was fantastic at explaining what she was doing and demonstrating actions and activities that we should be doing to help improve our situation. We have been set a number of tasks/activities to work on over the next few weeks. Met with Nancy today after her being highly recommended. My cavapoo has none existent recall if she gets out in the street. Nancy is very friendly and was amazing with my dog. I was amazed at what we covered in an hour! She quickly assessed the dog and what she would respond too and then Tailored the session to suit. We had our initial assessment with Nancy tonight. Background of Benji: he’s a 2.5 year old Cockapoo, he barks indoors and on walks, jumps up and pulls on the lead. After just 1 hour of discussion and starting the training with Nancy we now have the knowledge and skills to start training. My wife and I have two, ten month old golden doodles. Our baby is due in a month. We hired Nancy to help us prepare the dogs for the baby’s arrival and she gave us some excellent advice and practical instructions; her knowledge of canine psychology helped us understand how the puppies will react to the baby’s arrival; and she told us how to accustom them to the new furniture (cot, pram etc) and sounds such as crying. Additionally, we had two problems: our dogs play fight a lot and they jump up at visitors and guests. Nancy had quick solutions for both problems. Nancy identified another problem which may arise: we will not have as much time to walk our dogs when the baby is born. So, she told us how to give our dogs scent work/games to stimulate their minds, which reduces the need for longer walks; she told us that 15 minutes of scent work was the equivalent to 40 minutes of walking. Nancy’s claim is true: after we played the scent game, our dogs were very tired and fell fast asleep. In conclusion, we strongly recommend Nancy. She’s an expert in dog psychology and behaviour, which means she’s superior to most dog trainers who lack those deep insights. If you want quick results, hire Nancy. Less

It was lovely to meet Nancy yesterday when she visited us for Margot's assessment session. We contacted Nancy as our 5 month old puppy Margot is struggling with loose leash walking around distractions. This is more of a problem around people and dogs, as she has always been approached by others since she first started walks, and now anticipates meeting everyone she sees. Nancy did great work with Margot, both observing her in the house and on a walk. She showed me some activities to start engaging her even when distractions are around, and not only reassured me that we were already doing well (which was wonderful to hear), but gave me tips to improve Margot's current training routine which was very helpful. We are really looking forward to seeing how Margot progresses with her training and look forward to updating Nancy. Was great to meet Nancy today she is fantastic, we were having issues with our 5month Pup Leia barking in the car, after one session we've seen a great improvement with the techniques she has shown/told us. Had our first session with Nancy today to help our Boston Terrier Tommy with lead pulling and Reactivity with other dogs. Nancy asked all about Tommy, she went through an initial assessment with Tommy in the house then we took him on a short walk to see where he was at. When we came back to the house we went through some techniques. We saw a big improvement in Tommy even from that first short walk. Looking forward to continuing working with her and seeing improvements in Tommy. Nancy has also been very helpful with some other issues we have such as spotting in the house and licking other dogs urine on walks. I highly recommend. Less

Nancy is invaluable in our ongoing efforts to train little Pinto—our 7 month old working cocker spaniel. She works with positive reinforcement techniques and our pup loves and listens to her. She’s helped us learn simple methods to help with basic commands and recall. We also came to understand better our pup’s less desirable behaviours and how to train (ourselves and him!) for specific needs—like barking and play biting. Her methods work and help build confidence in both dog and owner that you’re being clear and consistent. It’s a gorgeous, funny work in progress but Nancy has made training our pup fun and effective. We have a 5 month old Dachshund pup " Bear" Who has recently started to bark react on the lead to other approaching dogs. We contacted Nancy as we were concerned that this could become a problem.
