Our dog, Muffin is part of Flying Colors Rock Star program. She has taken great strides in walking without pulling, not barking at neighboring dogs or people, staying on place in the house when people come to visit and listening to us. We have learned a lot about how to train her and what helps and what doesn’t. Thanks to the great staff at Flying Colors!

Training at Flying Colors Canine Academy is AMAZING!!! All the trainers are fantastic and at each lesson they explain why they are training a dog on each task. My dog, Teddy, a labradoodle, has learned so much. He is amazing to take on walks, now! Very good at listening and doing the commands he has been taught. If you are thinking about training your dog…hands down Flying Colors is the BEST!!!!

I brought my dog for private family training and Clarice is definitely a pro at what she does, and she has a whole staff of knowledgeable trainers that run some of the group classes. Clarice makes it a fun experience! My dog has so much more confidence now, and that was our main goal. The training leads to mutual trust and better relationships between dogs and parents.

I took my Rottweiler Apollo to Flying Colors for training and they did amazing work with him. He is now so well behaved and has manners! Would definitely recommend.

Our dog completed the Rock Star training and we could not be happier! She is a 7 month old Bernedoodle who had some bad habits. We can now enjoy dinner, take a walk in which we lead and not the dog, and have a sense of calmness! She's still a puppy but we continue to practice our commands and will be attending brush up classes after the holidays.

I brought two of my dogs to this training facility. My 7 year old girl German Shepherd Erza and 5 year old boy German Shepherd Rocco. Life with them wasn’t easy at all. Erza was scared of most strangers and listened half the time and couldn’t walk to save her life. Rocco has always had bad impulse control. Wanting to be the first out of the door, get a toy, or even just pets. Taking them here has given us the tools to work on their skills. With a boot like camp for the first two weeks. Drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. A few selected days they have training classes for you and your dog. You come in at 5:30 and you work with them and your dog until 6:15. Once you finish the two weeks they have momentum classes. They vary throughout the week. A few different people sign up and you work in a group session on different skills and tools for your dogs in a controlled environment. They also have private lessons if need be.After taking these classes I’m able to walk them in a tandem heel and have a nice loose leash when we are not in heel. We are able to sit around distractions like squirrels, other dogs, public spaces, and high energy. Taking them here is one of the best things I could’ve done for us, I am less anxious about taking my dogs out, and can finally see us thriving together instead of always competing with one another.
