1st time with my son, who’s 18 but needs his wisdom teeth out. The only thing I didn’t like was the hygienist who asked me to wait in lobby while they took X-rays, when others were allowed to wait outside of cubicle. Also, wasn’t happy with the wait just to be seen after he was placed in a room. At least 30min wait after placed, that wasn’t a good impression. Over all he will be getting his lower wisdom pulled, but I recommend asking how long the wait will be to be seen by one of the 2 Dr’s… Less

I would give 5 stars for the dentist himself I've never had an issue with him he's amazing! However voicemail box is always full and the receptionists hardly answer so can't properly schedule or cancel appointments. Less

I chose Secure Dental from the list of providers from my insurance. After spending some time reviewing their website I decided to go with them because it seems to me the founders pay attention to the training and performance of the dentists they bring into their family. I did have a bit of trouble getting in touch with the office via phone, so I stopped by the office in person one day since they were in the same office park as my Chiropractor. The staff was so friendly and I had an appointment two days later! I had a filling done at another dentist last year, and was not happy with the treatment. I felt the dentist was rushed in his work and did not take my concerns into consideration. I had very little explained about my treatment and was left with a cut on the inside of my cheek that made eating difficult for nearly a week. I was so nervous to go back to the dentist again, but desperately needed work on other teeth. What I liked best about my 1st appointment at Secure Dental was EVERYTHING. The paperwork was easily filled out on a tablet. My wait was not that long before being taken back . The hygenist/assistant was so friendly and shared with me options that they offered for my more cosmetic dentistry concerns. When Dr. D. Kang came to meet me he listened to my concerns about my previous Dental treatment and showed me the x-ray so I could actually see what had happened. He went over treatment options for the work I wanted re-done as well as a clear plan for the remaining fillings I need. His technique was gentle and efficient. I like Secure Dental because their staff is trained in the latest technology & techniques in dental care. The office is well staffed, caring & organized creating an smooth process for the patient. The doctor and nurses here are extremely professional and make you feel comfortable. Amazing! This was by far one of the best, most positive healthcare experiences I’ve had. I broke a tooth and when I went to call my regular dentist I found out they are closed on Fridays. I scrambled to find somewhere that took my insurance and could at least see me before the weekend. I am so glad I found Secure Dental. From the first call I made to inquire about being seen to checking in both Andrea R. and Taylor at the front desk were so helpful and accommodating. Once I was back in the dentist chair Olivia was very nice and funny and put me at ease. Dr. Nanru Kang was straight to the point and efficient all while being very personable. Ashley was caring and great at her job. She took the time to answer all the extra questions I had. Everyone in the office seemed to work as a solid team. I was truly amazed at how quickly they were able to get me in and fix my tooth. On top of that everyone I interacted with was so friendly. I love the actual doctor and the physical location itself. BUT . Your receptionists literally NEVER answer the phone! And I'm a pre existing patient! I've even left voice messages with your office and never get a call back. It's kind of confusing and irritating because anytime I have an appointment it seems like the front desk people are just sitting there and somehow yall never answer my calls. I used to go to familia dental here in Davenport, until their office was closed down. Someone had recommended secure dental. I tried them out, and I would 100% recommend them. I have made them my official dentist. They are so patient, they get you in fairly fast, and they are amazing at explaining all the work they do, how they do it, your aftercare, etc.. I got my first tooth extracted and I have terrible anxiety, the doctor did so amazing at explaining his every single move, the sounds I should hear, what to be worried about, what not to worry about, etc.. he did a deep clean, and my teeth looked amazing!
