The air diverter fits perfectly over our outdoor unit and stops the air recirculating in the alleyway. The magnet also seems strong enough to hold the deflector in place. Unfortunately delivery of the item was very delayed and although the item was advertised as assembled I had a long fiddle with magnets, screws and nuts and needing a pair of pliers to actual complete the assembly. Hence one star knocked off.
