Very helpful!
Seriously, we need to anoint Dr. Angie DeBorja as the patron saint of physical therapy. Over the past year-ish, I've had chronic back pain with unpredictable flareups. I had gone to two doctors and traditional PT all to still have a debilitating flareup afterwards. I went to Dr. Angie pretty desperate and trying to figure out next steps. From day one, her approach was very inviting, and a couple of weeks later, the pain has significantly gone down and i feel like I have the right tools/techniques to continue using in the future. Coming here is one of the best health investments of my life and highly recommend you go to this practice. Additionally, the one-on-one therapy is such a game changer and i appreciate that greatly. I started having so much pain in my thighs that I was having significant issues with climbing and descending stairs. In November I came across Angie’s website. I had tried so many other things that did not work and I was getting slightly desperate. I decided to try it. I am not exaggerating when I say that within 5 visits the pain was gone. I was able to climb and go down stairs without pain or having to hold onto railings. I am into my second session with Angie. We are working on a few other things now. Angie is highly skilled and one of the nicest humans you will ever meet. I would completely recommend her!!!! Less
I can not say enough good things about Angie deBorja. She is an amazing care giver. I am sure that isn't the right word, but it is. She truly cares about her patients and listens. She takes the time to see how your moving and doesn't just address the one thing you think hurts or is bothering you, she digs deeper to see where it starts from. I came to her first for myofascial release therapy for planter fasciitis and am basically pain free from that now. We then moved into treating my bursitis and my body is feeling better then it has in years. 100% you should see her - you will not regret it!! Less

Angie is compassionate, skilled PT and MRT expert and spends time to listen and treat the whole person. She is phenomenal! I have hope again. Less

Dr. Angela DeBorja’s physical therapy has been the best non-invasive treatment I have ever received. I came to her with extreme pain in my shoulder in an attempt to avoid surgery recommended by my orthopedic doctor. After two months of treatment and home exercises and finding that my neck, my back, and both arms were all part of the shoulder pain issue, there was great relief. As she worked her magic with myofascial release, movement was possible without pain. My range of motion increased, my mobility improved, and I learned that prescribed exercises were essential to maintaining a pain free routine. Gone were back and neck pain; gone was negative arm muscle tension, gone the reluctance to get out of bed in the morning. Now, we’re continuing to work on my arthritic hands and knee problems. What have I learned? Good posture eliminated many problems. Exercise is essential. Paying attention to the vast and complex system through which our bodies function is necessary to maintain control of our bodies. A word about “Angie”: she works constantly to improve her knowledge and, thus, her skill as a physical therapist. She is gentle, charming, and heals more than aches and pains. On occasion, when meeting another patient of hers, we can’t help but mention her “magic fingers”—though she also uses her arms, her whole body even to relieve us of those myofascial blockages. She teaches us to recognize how pain develops and radiates to other areas of our bodies, and, too, how we can use this knowledge to resolve that pain by simple movements at home. She’s a 5 Star physical therapist. Less

Extremely helpful, skilled, kind and patient! I went to work with Dr. deBorja, Angie, after being severely limited in terms of walking with any comfort and in being able to stand and move about comfortably for about a year. I did not have any expectations and I just wanted to get some mobility back. I was a bit nervous and had never worked with a physical therapist before and to my delight I was and am continually impressed by the knowledge and skill that Dr. Angie brings to the table, literally and figuratively. Not only are the sessions that I attend extremely helpful but Dr. Angie also has set up a routine/program that I can work on at home as an extension of the work that we do together. I could not recommend another physical therapist higher in terms of manner, professionalism and sheer knowledge and skills. I have Dr. Angie to thank for my continued progress in regaining and improving in my physical well being. Less
I highly recommend Dr. Angie deBorja because of her dedication to empathetic care and clinical excellence. Over the years, I've recommended my patients and friends who were diagnosed with cancer and needed lymphedema therapy to her, and they told me about their experience. Dr. deBorja, we are lucky to have someone like you in our community. Thank you for being a great physical therapist!

Some of the side effects that Angie assisted me with was restrictive range of motion and intermittent pain in the chest area. Angie provided various exercises for me to do on my own at home which was extremely helpful. During my recovery my goal was to return to boot camp. On 7/28/23 , I met this goal and returned to boot camp and finished the session! With Angie’s support, PT rehab, I was able to return to my normal activity 15 months after my surgery. I could not have done this without Angie’s expertise in Pt ( myofascial release) . I would highly recommend her services to anyone who needs physical therapy, who desires assistance with mobility, and myofascial release. Less

Dr. Angela deBorja is an extraordinary physical therapist. Whether you are recovering from a medical issue and need to return to your prior level of functioning or if you feel the strain of everyday life on your body, Angela can help you! She helped me after surgery and now she helps me with posture, neck strain from sitting at the computer, stretches and most importantly, hands-on myofascial release, an innovative and scientific massage-like approach for a range of pain and range of motion problems. I feel better after every appointment! Her high level of experience allows her to address her patient’s needs at all levels. I had been to physical therapy before and it felt like it was a one size fits all approach. Angela does a very thorough evaluation and tailors the intervention to not only each individual but also to what each person needs most the day they come to their appointment. Seven years ago I had a total shoulder replacement after a traumatic skiing accident. Multiple physical therapists have helped me improve mobility over the years but I always wanted better results. I didn't have the strength to complete overhead home projects and was limited in reaching across my body. My shoulder was uncomfortable when riding my bike or swim across the pool. Recently, Angie has thoroughly evaluated my movements and provided treatments that have restored my shoulder to a level that is well beyond what I had hoped for after so many years. While other medical professionals dismissed my deficiencies as arthritis, Angie used manual techniques in unique ways that have restored my posture and is allowing me to strengthen properly. Finally I am returning to activities that I enjoy and can't thank Angie enough! If you are struggling with limited motion or strength, let Angie guide you to better health. Less
Angie helped me tremendously with my knee after I ruptured my quad tendon after a fall down some stairs. Her manual skills helped a ton with the swelling, tightness, and stiffness. She is a great listener, encourages you, and got me back on the road to walking normally.

I worked with Angie side by side in the hospital and inpatient rehab settings for years. She is caring, empathetic and has a special way of connecting with her clients as unique individuals each with a story to be heard while helping them reach their goals. She is someone who truly cares about her clients.
Angie is excellent! When I started with Angie I was in pain and I was experiencing swelling. Angie helped to reduce the swelling and eliminate the pain I was experiencing. She is knowledgeable, kind, focused, willing to help others, and always looking to learn something new.

I received initial PT from somewhere else at the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020; however, due to the pandemic, my PT treatment was largely delayed for almost 3 years. I suffered from back, chest and stomach pain as a result of the surgery and it never seemed to go away. Angie has taken the time to work with me, working on one ‘problem’ area after another to really solve where the pain points are stemming from and what is the best course of treatment. She has given lots of knowledgable information and great tips to help improve my pain throughout the week at home as well. She is also constantly researching new methods on how to treat patients. She is also prepping me for my next surgery and I will continue to see her after as part of my healing process. I would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing pain and wanting to get back to a much more ‘normal’ lifestyle. Less
Amazing physical therepist yet such words cannot capture my appreciation for Ms. deBorja's physical therapy skills. After only a few session, my pain level decreased from 9 to 3. Presently, I am healthier than ever. Thank you Ms. deBorja for your help and care.
