Hurricane Milton was very nasty to us. Lost everything 2 feet in “swamp” water and below. Needed a place quickly to put the save-able items that were above the storm waterline. I live near downtown Sarasota and thought for sure my home would be destroyed in Milton, I called Units Moving, and the owner Mr Seecharon called me back, he was kind and professional, and reserved a unit for me. After the storm we were very blessed and did not need it, I called to tell him I would not need it but that I wanted to pay anyway because he had reserved the unit he refused to take my money. I rented a UNIT from Angie and Albert in February. Both Angie and Albert were gracious and kind people. I ended up having to transfer my belongings from my rented UNIT to a U-Haul truck. I am on my own so, I was unloading the UNIT by myself and being that I was in Florida , it was hot of course. I was getting overheated 🥵. Angie came out and looked at me and asked if I was ok. I started to cry and she said , let me see if I can get one of my truck drivers to help .Ken came out and helped load my belongings into the U-Haul. I am so grateful to these people. We needed to have a portable storage unit for hurricane repairs in our garage. Units Moving and Portable Storage of SW Florida had good pricing and excellent communication so I selected them to provide my storage unit. The delivery was exactly when they said it would be and the driver was very patient when I asked him to move it further down my driveway after seeing it in place. The unit itself was spotlessly clean and it also offered a way to hold the doors open when needed. Scheduling the pickup was also easy and they arrived as scheduled. Using Units Storage was a fantastic experience. The unit was brand new and has barn doors as opposed to roll up doors like PODS. This gives you more space inside. Also, you pay one time; not multiple times for each leg of the trip as with PODS. Moving blankets are available for rent. The drivers are awesome and helpful. You won't regret using this company!! The Units of Sarasota are a family-owned business who treat their customers like family. While I have only had a relationship with the owners since the Hurricane, I believe I can confirm they are extremely professional and exceptionally responsive to needs. This is the type of business that requires a quick response to questions and any concerns. They react immediately. In fact, my neighbor who gave me their information and I would very much like to meet the owners. When we both get back in our condos, we are taking a road trip to see them.
