My 7 year old daughter started martial arts at Tiger Rock less than one year ago. She loves it so much that she practices at home consistently, which has resulted in climbing her belt levels steadily. Her instructor, Grand Master Mathews, continues to motivate her, while making each class fun for her. She considers him one of her top role models; she wants to become an instructor just like him! She continues to strive toward her next belt level and is now in the leadership/honors program as a confident Red Jacket, where she volunteers to help coach the beginning belt levels. My daughter has not only learned martial arts (forms, board-breaking, sparring, etc.) at Tiger Rock, but she has also learned how to properly and confidently introduce herself to peers and adults alike (which never fails to impress my colleagues at the office!).
