I have used Vinx for many years. It started off great but the quality of treatments & customer service has gone down hill over the past year or so. There were a couple of times they canceled our treatment due to the weather forecast or lack of technicians, but then they never called me to reschedule. One time a “manager” came out to set a bait trap but then left without treating the yard. That was apparently my quarterly service. It became my problem to try & remember if I had seen the Vinx guys quarterly, and if not, I had to call them. Nine times out of 10 I had to leave a message because nobody answered the phone. I also prefer to use a company that charges fee-per-service and not a monthly contracted fee. Now that I finally spoke to someone today to actually request a cancellation of my contract (8/01) they are still billing me again for this month (8/10). I left two messages at the beginning of the summer in an attempt to cancel but they state they have no record of my calls. Mind you I haven’t received any treatments at my house since 5/10 (per my quarterly treatment schedule), yet I’ve paid my fee every month & will be charged again before they will officially cancel my contract. It’s all in the contract & my hands are tied…lesson learned. I’ll never do business with this company again. I know they will take the time to try & refute this review in a detailed response. Too bad they aren’t spending the same amount of time trying to actually improve the service they are providing to longtime clients. ***update! As expected, they take all the time to refute poor google reviews, but don’t actually take the time to treat their customers well. Did anyone take the time to call me to discuss??? No. BTW, the service technician/manager did drop the bait station at the back of our property & then left. I literally watched him leave after a few minutes without treating my yard. I should have called them immediately but chose to let it go. That’s my fault for not saying anything sooner. I did mention it on a call later that I’m sure they heard when “thoroughly investigating my claims.” And, I used them at two different properties, we were in a rental while undergoing a large remodeling project. IN RESPONSE TO WHAT WAS REPLIED TO ME: First off, if Doug ever reported that the problem had cleared up that was a blatant lie. If that were the case we wouldn't have called for him to come back. Secondly, another blatant lie nothing is shipped in my garage where my business is run! I am a couponer which I physically go out and purchase the items in my garage on shelves!!! If you have no knowledge of things that were told to you then it's best to not repeat them. If the owner (s) water a private conversation with me then there was no need to come on here publicly and post a novel of the history and half of it is false. I'm very easy to please but the quickest way to upset me is to spew out false things about me!!!! I leave excellent reviews and said great things about Doug which speaks volumes for the company I just don't agree the product is effective but I didn't know that Doug was a liar and I don't appreciate that AT ALL!!!!!!! ORIGINAL POST The technician Doug was very polite and pleasant to work with but I'm completely dissatisfied with the service received. After the issue seemed to not get better , I contacted Doug and he came back out a couple of times to try to fix the issue I will admit he was willing to help. But whatever method they use is just not effective. I contacted him about a month ago letting him know that the problem hadn't gotten any better and he said he would come back out and I never heard anything else. That was my experience the last 2 times I contacted him where I was forgotten about and had to reach out to them AGAIN to actually get scheduled. 😔 I recommend going with someone who offers the heat treatment because whatever powder substance they use is a waste of money and it saddens me because we don't have money to throw away. After he was finished, he provided a follow up outline with options for continuing treatment along with some education on things to keep an eye when it comes to pest invasion. Aaron was just here and did a very thorough job spraying for mosquitoes, completing the quarterly pest control service and checking/refilling our rodent traps. We have noticed a great difference since Vinx has started this service. Good work Aaron!

Having a rodent problem makes you feel so icky! That said, Eli took the time to show me what was going on, explain rodent behavior and assure me everything was fixable. He was incredibly thorough and not pushy at all. I felt like he truly wanted what was best/right for me and my husband.

Gustauo with Vinx Pest Control was on time, friendly, honest and did the best job we have ever had done on our house. Even all our fur babies loved him.
