We had a very difficult attic restoration project that involved extensive work and coordination with HVAC work that also needed to be done. Squirrels and Rats had caused significant damage to our HVAC system. The HVAC contractor advised us that the attic was in really bad shape and needed to be remedied before we consider replacing our AC. Critter control first took the steps needed to assure "critters" were no longer in that space and prevent any future re-entry. After that was complete, all of the existing insulation in the attic was removed. After removal of the insulation, the HVAC company completed the work of replacing all duct work and installing a new AC unit. After the HVAC work was completed, Critter Control returned to complete disinfection of the space and installation of new R30 insulation. I was worried that my Critter elimination and attic restoration project would require dealing with multiple contractors and be a major time consuming challenge and painful process to get accomplished. Critter Control made it a one stop shop, turn-key project. Pricing was very fair. They were also flexible and fair in adjusting scope and timing as the project demanded. I am sorry if you are faced with restoring an attic, like my family was, but I am excited to recommend Critter Control as a 1 stop solution that does very difficult work with high quality results.

I hired CC to remove a squirrel in my attic. Critter Control was easy to work with and highly professional. Be aware there are other companies with similar names. They ask for 1/2 of the cost to secure the service and 1/2 after service is complete. I received immediate follow-up call after leaving a message with an explanation of what would be included in the free consultation. We scheduled and the tech was on time. She proceeded to review the house and was very knowledgeable on signs of where the rodents were entering the house (like dirt on the roof corner). She walked me through what they could do for me: seal/mesh all entry and potential entry points, then leave a 1-way 'door' over the main rodent hole for a week, then seal that hole. Service includes 1 year guarantee. Wait time for start was less than a week and I did not need to be home for any of the process which was convenient. They were priced much lower than 2 other competitors I received quotes from. Keep in mind the competitors also fog the attic to remove rodent scenting and add on regular maintenance. With CC's guarantee, I did not feel I needed the extra. Happy with the work that was done. The first Pic is the Before.

After two bad hurricane seasons it became clear that rats and a few other unwanted visitors were in my attic. I called one company who never called me back. My next call was to Critter Control who quickly got my initial appointment set. Then a plan was made and executed over a few weeks to be Rat Free!!Overall speed and efficiency was great and even have the ongoing quarterly maintenance schedule set to keep both rats & snakes away. Ten days ago, I was unhappily surprised to discover that we had squirrels scampering around in our attic. When I called Critter Control, Christina responded to my questions clearly and courteously. She told me that Inspector Myra would come out to investigate the very next day. Myra was excellent. She did a thorough inspection of our house exterior and snapped pictures of all actual and potential points of intrusion. Then she climbed up through the hatch in the ceiling, assessed our large attic interior, and took additional photos, and showed me her findings. There was ample evidence of squirrels but, so far, no damage. She explained to me that Austin would come to seal off all points of entry—except one. This he did the very next day. At the primary point of intrusion, he installed a small cage with a 1-way exit door. The next time the squirrels went out for food, they would be unable to reenter. Long story short, the squirrels are gone. Christina, Myra, and Austin were friendly, respectful, and professional in every way. If any further critter problems come up in the future, I will not hesitate to call Critter Control. I give them my highest recommendation.

I was so impressed first that a woman came out. Just caught me off guard until she climbed up in my attic of a 9 year old home and confirmed what “ the other company “ said. She thoroughly explained what would happen, and basically gave me a full education about bats! Like I mentioned, Myra was awesome! I highly recommend this company for bat mitigation. The only way we found out we had hundreds of the was due to a roof leak being repaired. The roofer said “ you’ve got something living up there making all kinds of noises. Well, turns out it was bats. Check your house for any openings. They love getting in through soffits and boy do they make a mess! Last night we watched as they flew out an tried desperately to return only to hit a secured net over and over. Was kind of sad. But they will move on to the next house in FH West. Apparently they are everywhere in the community. We need to involve the HoA and have Bat boxes placed throughout the community to keep them out of our houses. But a great big thank you to Myra and her team for what they do at a fair price!
