I used Coastline Building Surveys for a Level 2 survey on a 1930s chalet bungalow in Worthing, and Chris did an excellent job. The report was thorough, well organised and clearly written, with photos of every issue and a condition rating for each part of the house. He picked up things I would never have noticed myself, including signs of possible wall-tie corrosion, damp in the kitchen and a path bridging the damp-proof course, and he explained clearly what needed further investigation before exchange. He also listed the documents my solicitor should request, which made the next steps easy. Chris was helpful and quick to respond to my follow-up questions. The report has given me the evidence I need to make an informed decision on the purchase. I would recommend Chris to anyone buying a home in the area.
