I was thoroughly impressed with my total knee replacement experience that I had with Dr. King and his team. I expected to be completely overwhelmed with all the preparation and recovery, but they made the process so easy. Everything was organized so all I had to do was answer the phone to arrange for medical equipment drop off, home health care providers and out-patient physical therapy. The customer service was fantastic. From Nancy who spent so much time working out difficulties with my insurance company to the staff in the recovery room who went above and beyond to ensure I had all the resources I needed to get home safely. I always felt like my experience was everyone's priority. While all the folks I met were incredibly patient and caring, it was reassuring to have Kathy available from start to finish - arranging my pain management, making sure that I was informed and comfortable on the day of surgery and checking in and answering questions during the post-op period. The whole experience was better than I had hoped, and I will most definitely be back to King & Parsons for any future joint care that I might need! Less

For the past couple of years Dr King has advised that I am approaching the point where I will need total knee replacements. His qualifying statement has been that “I will tell him when I am ready.” This past year I finally realized what he meant as my activities in the gym and on the ski slope (not to mention going up and down stairs) became severely limited. 3 weeks ago I had my first knee replacement by Dr King using their AVATAR system and was home the same day. I am walking stairs, driving myself to physical therapy, back in the gym (upper body only) and hope to be chipping and putting on the golf course within the next week. It has been a team approach, including physical therapy, and requires a commitment to the protocol and a willingness to put in the rehab work. When it came time to replace my knees I did my home work and Dr. King was to obvious choice because I didn't want to be slowed down for long. They have a great program that got me back moving right away and everyone that was in the office or surgery center were incredibly competent.

I had my right knee done 6 years ago by Dr. King it went great! Finally had my left knee done at outpatient surgery center with Dr King loved it! Staff was great with my recovery. I am walking over 2 miles after 2 months rehabbing. The key to knee replacement success is keep stretching, building strength and moving.

I had a total knee replacement three weeks ago, and it’s been an amazing experience!. Dr King, and the rest of his team are highly professional, welcoming, communication is great, and even this early in my healing process, I can walk better than I have in years! I was seen on time at each appointment, was well prepared for each step of this process, and fully informed of what would take place before during and after surgery. It was amazing to be admitted in the morning and be home in time for the evening meal I believe that using the CPM machine which is a part of his protocol made a huge difference in my successful healing. As a patient, I prepared for this surgery by having physical therapy for several months before and starting the day after surgery. In addition as a patient, I believe that doing all the things that they suggested made a giant difference. Several times a day I ice and do stretches and strengthening exercises, and each day I feel better. I was a little nervous before hand because I’ve heard that total knee replacement can be very painful and I did have one day that that was true but otherwise I’m in less pain than I was walking on the knee before surgery. The day I was in pain I neglected to follow the instructions I had been given around breakthrough pain, which, in hindsight was a terrible choice. I am walking better now than I have in over two years . Dr King and his team have been doing this work for many years and they are excellent at it. I recently had my second knee done by Dr. King since I had the my first knee done in 2017. It never crossed my mind to have anyone else perform the surgery except Dr. King even though I had moved 100 miles away. From first office visit to pre-op at Portsmouth Regional and post-op my experience was excellent. When I had questions, after surgery, and on a weekend, there was always someone to speak with and advise. I had a left knee replacement on March 8 and a right knee on April 5th. Fabulous experience with my hip replacement. I highly recommend this program and all the personnel connected to this program. Dr. King is a miracle worker. I am now able to resume living without the all consuming pain that I had prior to surgery. If I require evaluation for other joints such as knee or shoulder this facility will receive a call.

The best of the best…Home 6 hours after total hip replacement. Walking without any appliances like walker , cane , after 3 days. Pain was easy to tolerate over 1-2 weeks . Looking forward to replacing the other hip in the fall. Dr. Parsons and his staff are the absolute best …

I started the process for my surgeries in July . From the very first visit I was so impressed with Dr. Moby Parsons and all of the staff at The Knee, Hip and Shoulder Center. I was asked which one was causing the most pain. That was the first to be scheduled. The whole process was seemless. From picking a date. To making sure all tests needed were scheduled. Along with a visiting nurse scheduled. Along with PT scheduled. The awesome Physician’s assistant Stacey made sure all post surgery medications prescribed and on hand for me to start taking as soon as needed. They made sure I had a phone number to reach them if I had absolutely any issues post surgery. - [ ] I had the first done on 7/29/22 and the second on 8/26/22. Surgery was performed at the Stratham Surgical Center. Again I could not of asked for better people to take care of me. All were amazing. As a matter of fact I also ended up having to have my left shoulder replacement as well. Originally scheduled for early December at the hospital due to Stratham Surgical Center was not performing shoulder surgeries there yet. Well much to my happiness the surgical center started performing shoulder surgeries there in November. I was very happy to be able to move my surgery there. It began with my fabulous surgeon Dr. Moby Parsons and the Physician’s assistant Stacey. It ended with him and all the amazing people that surround him and that are there for the patients recovery. From the end of surgery to the beginning of living and walking again pain free. - [ ] My husband and I have a love of hiking and snowshoeing. Dr.Parsons has given that back to me. I am anxiously waiting for my next post op visit to get the ok to start hiking again. It is always asked to rate from 1-5 stars . Everything.. the staff is friendly and caring. Dr. Parsons I trust completely with my knee. He did a knee replacement and it went smoothly. then I damaged it again so he fixed again. Both times little to no pain. I have been recommending Dr. Parsons and his team to everyone.

One of the worst places to go. No bedside maners at all and didn't believe the Mri results that was given to him. I WOULDN'T SEND MY WORST ENEMY TO THIS HACK.

Knee replacements are clicking and clunking horribly 3 months after surgery and I'm told I'll get used to it. I've asked many others that have gone elsewhere and they don't have this issue. Very disappointing

I can't say enough about Dr. Parsons and the entire staff at The Knee, Hip and Shoulder Center. Dr. Parsons goes through everything with you so you know exactly what's happening. The whole staff is caring and very thorough! If you have an orthopedic issue, this is the place you should go!!

After 3 wks on Continuous Knee Motion machine my knee started to flex another 10-15 degrees allowing me ability to go up and down stairs. I’m now able to hike and hunt. Dr Parsons is by far the Best Orthopedic Doctor I've been to. He is caring, knowledgeable and a great Surgeon. I've sent many people his way and none have had a bad thing to say about him or the practice.

Dr. King and his staff are outstanding. On a scale of 1 - 10 they rate 20. My shoulder replacement was extremely successful. Even 3 years later the replaced shoulder is operating as good as the shoulder not replaced. There is no pain or reduction in range of motion of the replaced shoulder. I would and have recommend Dr. King to others requiring shoulder surgery.

I have just completed two knee replacements within 4 weeks with Dr. King and his staff! With his plan, recovery is quick.... I went home after surgery. They had me walking and going up stairs an hour after surgery. 100% satisfied!!!

Dr King and his surgical staff are the best! In my opinion he uses the best technique around. You're not left with a full leg of black, blue and purple. No staples on the knee that people have told me are very uncomfortable when your working with PT. Dr. King uses absorable sutures which also produces less scarring. The CPM machine is the best! I feel that the continuous range of motion put me far ahead of patients not using a CPM. I was also much more comfortable when my knee was in the machine. Less

I cannot say enough good about Doctor King and his whole surgical staff. I had both my knees replaced a month apart. Both were done as outpatient procedures. They were fantastic. I was back to work after a couple of weeks. They gave me my life back. I cannot thank them enough!
