I had a total hip replacement 3 weeks ago. I never had to take an opioid, moved from a walker to a cane within a week, and can do stairs and drive now. Kind of amazing. I certainly don’t want to have another joint replaced, but if I have to, I’ll be back.

I'm 63 and have just had 2 total knee replacements staged 6 weeks apart by the amazing Dr Parsons and his fabulous team. The whole experience was as good as it could possibly be given what they do to you. The results are the best - full extension and 140° flexion on the first knee (9 weeks PO) and working to get there (currently 125°) with the second (3 weeks PO). The care on surgery day is exemplary - love the Stratham Ambulatory Surgery Centre, it's nurses, anesthesia and PT staff. They have a very well thought through protocol to get you through pain management in the first 2 tough weeks. The team are always there for you if you have questions or concerns. Once you decide TKR is for you, choosing King & Parsons is your next best decision. You won't regret it.

From the initial consultation to the three week follow-up visit, this experience has been flawless. Professionals doing what one would expect and beyond. Two new knees by Dr. Parsons and team: 1st was Jan 20, 2nd was March 3. Great results on both sides. I expect to lose the cane when I see the PT therapist tomorrow, 3/11. They have a complete process preparing you, getting you the rights meds and supplements, as well as great office support. Using the tissue sparing "Jiffy Knee", I can't imagine going back to the traditional process.
