We've been using CKG for all our home repairs for years. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them. Their pricing is fair, they are prompt, neat, honest, responsive and most importantly, they don't try to up-sell you unnecessary repairs.

Chris responded next morning at 8 am to investigate what turned out to be a bogus claim by a home inspector as to whether CKG had neglected flashing in one area when they installed our roof 5 years ago. They hadn’t neglected it, and what’s more, the roof has not leaked and looks great. That’s what accountability looks like.

If I could post a review with zero stars I would. They came out, evaluated the job and promised an estimate the same day. The next day called the office and no estimate. Tried again to reach out for the estimate and nothing. Weeks later no call or acknowledgement. Would not use or refer anyone to this contractor.

The different shape caused the siding to look a little off. They did not argue with me, or say it was the best they could. They came up with a solution and addressed the problem. The house looks great now. Third, CKG replaced an attic fan. After a few days, the attic fan started vibrating. I called them. They showed up that week and addressed the problem. When no issues pop up every contractor can seem like a good contractor. I believe the difference between a good contract and a great contractor is how they address issues that unexpectedly pop up. Horrible! Our roof started leaking 18 month after installation. I called CKG 3 times. No result! Chris the owner showed up to see that leak and assured us that they will fix it soon. ..3 month have passed.... Nobody came to fix it. I think it it time to file BBB complaint.

They also did a great job matching the color and shape of the old shingles. This was the second project CKG handled for me. Earlier in the year they removed the moss and lichen from my roof. Again a problem I did not have before I had the rain gutter screens put on. All this water was eroding away my soil (see photo) around my drainage system. Called Chris and he came out to take a look at it. The simple solution that would fix it was to bend the little mental and silicone it which he said he will send one of his guy to take care of. Well WEEKS and few MONTHS have gone by with no work performed. So, I pulled my ladder out and went up there myself bent the little metal and silicone it myself yesterday. I think it will fix the problem but next rain storm will tell. Overall I think CKG is a very reputable and perform good work. I initially hired them for their positive rating to be disappointed. I only had a small job to repair several pieces of my house siding, but CKG didn't have a problem with a small job. They came over, gave me an estimate of cost and when they should be able to do it. The work was done beautifully and I couldn't have asked for more. They really put in the effort to get the siding fixed right. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.
