I contracted Resort Advisory Group to assist with the cancellation of my timeshare. Their staff was very professional in their dealings with me and my husband as we navigated the timeshare cancellation process. They walked us through all the steps and provided support when we had questions or needed an update. The cost was less than other timeshare cancellation services that we had spoken with but was still expensive (as is to be expected with this type of service). In the end, I cannot speak to their effectiveness as a third-party buyer answered and made an offer on one of our previous ads that we had posted before contracting with RAG. The timeshare developer exercised a right of 1st refusal which ultimately got us out of our timeshare contract. I have no doubt had we continued with RAG services we would have been able to exit our timeshare. We had no debt and only 1 year of back maintenance fees so also unsure of RAG's ability to manage any credit impacts. Hope this review helps someone in the same position as we were. Scam company. Once they get your money, they stop doing anything or responding. 2.5 years in and no progress. Even took a hit to my credit that their guaranteed credit service was supposed to fix (US Credit Bureau) so now my credit is permanently jacked up now.

This company is a scam. It's been over two years and nothing has happened. The lawyers supposedly sent a demand letter to the developer in January 2021 and have done nothing since. Then I get lectured about how I shouldn't be making my payments, but I don't want my credit destroyed. The credit service they use has also done nothing for me.

Dear Timeshare Compliance & Resort Advisory Group, I used to work here, and how they treat the employees is like a dollar sign. Plus they're media day was right after the outbreak. They still had companies come in to film their commercial without telling those companies there was an outbreak, plus they used the sick persons desk as well. Masks are not required, social distancing doesn't exist, if you wanted to work from home! They told you no and told you to file for unemployment when their favorites were allowed to work from home. I don't appreciate them taking their life in my hands. I was supposed to come back to work but no one told me plus I was exposed because I was in that office with the infected person a week earlier talking about coming back to work. I am immune compromised and I have family I take care of who are elderly. This company in my opinion is despicable. I'm glad I work for the competition, I am actually cared about! I had been unhappy with the timeshare industry for some time and it was then that I finally moved forward and contacted RAG. I had been to a seminar with another timeshare removal company before, but felt uncomfortable with their pushy approach to me and I left without committing. I sure didn’t want to get into another deal that turned sour. The reason I went with RAG, and fully committed, was that they were very professional and not pushy in anyway. They were sympathetic rather than the feeling that they were yet trying to sell me something as the other company’s presentation had made me feel. They really lead me through the entire process. They called me frequently to update me on what was going on as it doesn’t happen overnight to get the process finished. The Resort Advisory team were professional, friendly and called faithfully to keep us updated or to just say there were no updates. It took a little while but to our amazement, we got out of the timeshare and now we have a huge burden lifted off our backs. These people actually help and from what I understand they do what they say they're going to do. Unlike so many other Pretenders these folks actually get people out of timeshare and poor decisions they might have made in the past my understanding is it's all based off of misrepresentation that's how they're able to break timeshare contracts

The representative along with the manager I dealt with have a special skill set , the competence they show with the knowledge to back it up there is no comparison. This gave us a comfort in knowing the service provided to us, the work is going to be done right the first time. What also separates these guys from the rest is not only the quality you'll receive in customer service, with the staff of Bonnie, Aurora, Michelle, and Eric. They were able to relate, and also understand the hardship we were going through. The consultation is free and it was totally up to my wife and I to hire them to alleviate us from a stressful situation, or any concerns we should have.
