Not very competent or efficient service on the account side of things. Going on two weeks to set up an account is ridiculous. Left multiple voicemails with no response. Only person to ever call me back was Doug. If it wasn't for him I would have given up on using this company at all. Joyce must really not want any new accounts because she makes it so difficult to set up one. And she is almost impossible to get ahold of. Forget about her returning a voicemail because that does not happen. Sales associates at the counter are very helpful and pleasant. They are the only reason I am not leaving a one star review. Less

I've purchased gas from Metro Welding for more than 10 years and their service has been exemplary. Their ultra high purity gases have always been just that - ultra high purity and I've need have a problem with their quality. I get next-day delivery on my cylinders, and it's easy to pay my bills online. They are not the least expensive in the area, however. But, you get what you pay for. Less

Over and above from sales and service but the accounting is hard to follow. One month I have a credit balance, next month they changed how they applied my payment so I was overdue on a bill. Changing balances are not good for business. Reading other reviews I understand now. Less

Called looking for some dry ice left a voicemail, did not get a reply. After calling back I did speak to a human who gave me a price that was twice the amount as anywhere else in the area and was supposed to call me back which they never did. Very bad customer service I have taken my business elsewhere and I will take all future gas and welding supplies elsewhere from now on. Lost a good customer need to follow up, not leave customers hanging as we will go elsewhere for our product. Less
