I have been training with Matt for about 16 months now. From our first session, he impressed me with his foundational knowledge and approach. Unlike other cookie cutter programs, Matt uses a scientific method to analyze and provide an individualized strategy to achieve your goals while treating chronic musculoskeletal dysfunction and preventing further injury. I had previous gym experience and felt like I knew a lot about exercise and biomechanics, but Matt was easily able to identify my weaknesses and focus on them to obtain results I never thought were possible. While he will always push you to succeed, you will never feel forced past the point of safety. He trains for a functional healthy body, not just for beach muscles. Anyone looking for their money's worth from a personal trainer should be contacting Matt because you get far more than just an exercise program. Also he's the nicest guy ever and his gym, The Wreckroom, is an inspiring and really fun place to work out!

Matt is truly a warm and wonderful person. He is not only extremely professional, he is very personable, patient and exceptionally passionate about helping others. He takes the time to listen, to observe, to assess and develop a plan and program that suits the unique needs of his of clients. His deep and thorough knowledge of the body, how it works and how to utilize this knowledge to yield the greatest results for each person he works with is motivating and exciting!! His genuine desire to assist people in reaching and exceeding their personal goals is a win-win for anyone he works with and I would highly recommend working with Matt to anyone who is looking to put in the effort to be the best version of themselves possible..it will happen, trust the process!!!

Matt is an incredible, and I mean INCREDIBLE trainer. He applies his knowledge of the human anatomy to each and every workout to ensure you obtain your greatest results possible. Matt is definitely a results driven man and will push you to your max- no quitters in his training! Not only is Matt and awesome trainer, but he has this amazing and kind soul. If you're having a bad day, or your energy levels are low, he may just spend the time mentoring/coaching you as you proceed through your workout. He truly tailors each and every training session to you!

I don't think I can find the right words for Matt. He is just an amazing person inside and out. I haven't been to a gym in a long time ok years lol. I met with Matt to discuss training sessions with him as i suffer from severe lower back pain. I walked in with a bunch of excuses and reasons as to why I won't go. He sat there listened to me and gave me the confidence and courage to get into the gym. I am at the gym 3 times a week. I push myself harder then I ever have. Matt is so knowledgeable and he created a program based on me and my capabilities. I absolutely love him from venting, to swearing at him, to calling him to keep me on track. He is one of a kind he has helped me so much. He is an amazing trainer who takes time with each one of his clients and teaches the proper techniques. Anyone who works with him will tell you how amazing of a person he is. If anyone is ever hesitant about joining he's definatley the person to talk to and work with.

I train with Matt and he is superb. Couldn't have asked for a better personal trainer. I have never been a gym guy but whenever I train with him, I lift 100s of pounds. He is such an inspiring and smiling figure. Brownie points, he is very strong on technicals and fundamentals.

I had little to no gym experience beyond Grade 9 Gym class, and could barely get through 5 pushups, which I apparently had been doing incorrectly for 25 years. I work at a desk all day and felt completely self-conscious walking into a gym full of people who look like... well... Matt.
I walked into TheWreckroom about 8 months ago and met with Matt to discuss training options. Right off the bat, he made me feel comfortable in the gym environment and we put together a plan. Whether he's counting my reps when I'm too focused on getting the form right to remember what number I'm at or if he's laughing at me because my physical exertion grunts sound like cartoon noises - I know he's my biggest cheerleader, in both muscle mass and spirit, when it comes to my fitness journey.
One of the coolest things Matt did for me was the way he tailored the workouts and explanations for me. I don't just mean which workout would physically help me reach my goal but he would explain things to me in ways I would understand... well no... first he'd use the really long scientific muscle names but then he'd use examples he knew I would understand from my life. Something he'd only be able to do if he actually got to know me and learn about my life and who I was.
Matt, a.k.a. TitanTraining, not only taught me so much about exercise, weightlifting and how my body works but he also did all that while allowing me to be my goofy, dancing in between sets, making inappropriate jokes -self. He not only accepted who I was but he embraced it and used it to make me a better, I wouldn't say athlete yet... but definitely a better person who works out at a gym in public.

I've always been terrified of taking big steps. I've done casual sessions at box gyms, I dabbled in Crossfit, and I've bought home fitness equipment to avoid taking bigger measures. Nothing worked. Then I met Matt Daciw of Titan Training and the Wreckroom, Kitchener. I'll be honest, sure, I was intimidated. My mind always got in the way of what I was actually capable of. It was Matt that helped me overcome those hurdles. After only a few sessions, I was feeling stronger and lighter. One month in, I had lost 13lbs. I could touch my toes, something I haven't done in decades. But that's nothing compared to the mental conditioning Matt help me with. He made me believe in myself again, that nothing could hold me back, and whatever I wanted was there to be taken! I haven't felt this good in 20 years, and it's all because Matt believed in me. And now I believe in myself. I can't thank Matt enough. My life has changed forever. If there's one thing you can do, it's find someone who believes in you, who will fight for you, who will encourage you to the end. I found Matt, and I will be grateful forever!

Matt has been very approachable and motivating coach! He thoroughly explains the steps and methods behind each movement. With his guidance, I've dramatically increased the strength of my key lifts and increased my joint mobility in matter of weeks!! These are attributes that greatly supplements my martial arts training! Very knowledgeable and professional trainer, highly recommended!

Looking for an amazing, uplifting trainer? Look no further. Honestly.
Six months ago I tore my ACL and was waiting on surgery. I was advised to get as strong as I could going into the surgery so I figured I may as well do this properly so I contacted Matt. From the first consultation I knew I was going to be looked after. He was so driven to help me be the best I could possibly be and pushed me to build up all the strength I could prior to surgery. Now, 2.5 weeks after my surgery my doctor is amazed at my progression. He says he rarely sees people have so much movement. I attribute that to Matt and how thoroughly he researched appropriate exercises to not only cater to my busted knee, but to give me a full body workout as well.
I plan on doing my post-surgery recovery with Matt and build that strength right back up again, and this time with an 'almost brand new knee'!
I would highly recommend Titan Training for anyone. Whether you're looking to get into better shape, drop a few sizes, or gain some muscle, Matt is definitely the guy you need to see!

Having to deal with some restricted mobility in my shoulders and knees Matt took the time to really listen to my concerns and designed a program that would address those issues and even within a short period of time there has been improvement! Matt really takes his time to explain each exercise and the reason for doing it. I love his professionalism, knowledge but most of all his positive energy!
