Lamar the owner is a wonderful mechanic. He bailed us out when we broke down while doing a delivery in Davi Florida. Due to the current fuel prices we don’t idle when we do a delivery. After unloading our truck wouldn’t start. We had no indication of an issue prior to it not starting. Luckily for us our delivery was at a Kabota dealer and a mechanic there took a quick look and confirmed it was the starter. We had already made a plan to bring our truck to Intense Truck Repair on Wednesday morning. Lamar answered the phone and was more than happy to help. He said he had the starter but had to swing by his other location grab it and would be there in an hour. Not only was there in one hour he is extremely knowledgeable about our Kenworth T680. We chatted about the other things we need done and he swapped out the starter. We will be using him for for all of our mechanical needs in the future. I have not been treated so kindly by a mechanic being a woman in the trucking industry. I can’t say enough good things about this man and his business practices. Thanks Lamar you’re awesome. Less
