I called on Tuesday for a Friday appointment. I got the date and time. I received a follow up text message. What was important to me was I had called another Dental Office and was told I would have to wait until October for a Friday appointment. On the first call at Secure Dental I was given the day and time I needed. Once I arrived at my dentist appointment I was greeted and had the option to complete my application on my phone or tablet. After few minutes of completing the application. I was seen right away. The Technician assistant explain to what to expect and I had several xrays of my mouth. Dr. Lee came after reviewing my xrays and we decussed a dental plan. I am very satified with my dentist visit. I have to mention I was very apprehensive but the pain I was in was more important to deal with and Dr. Lee took good care of me and I will do my follow up visit next week. Less

GLAD I went to secure dental. Im a recovering addict (6yrs clean now) so my teeth are not in the best of shape from years of neglect...I had went to northshore to see if they could help fix my teeth...they said i had to get dentures my teeth were in salable blah blah blah..lol which I did not want but understood if I really needed to go that route...anywho i had a friend suggest i go check secure dental they had fixed her tooth. Me as a procrastinator I put it off til one day my tooth was in pain I figured oh it would go away..2 weeks later the pain didn't go away so I contacted Secure Dental made my apt to have that tooth removed..went to my apt had two teeth pulled and the dentist said okay now let make a plan to fix them other teeth to get u smiling again..so I told him like northshore said I had to get dentures. He said I could fix it we do not need go down that road. So I was excited to know I did not have to get dentures... So I'm still in the process of fixing my teeth..the dentist had fix 2 of my cracked teeth and they came out beautiful 😍 can't even tell they were damaged in the past. So he did what my insurance allowed then gave me a quote for the rest of the cracked teeth I needed fix if I didn't want to wait for my insurance to renew in the New year...gave me a discount of 500$ off of the work needed..super excited to have him finish the rest so I can smile with confidence again. This place took me last second because I was having excruciating tooth pain. They gave me the option of pulling it saving it if it was savable. Turns out it was!! They were so kind and gentle and had me in and out so fast with a filling. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while cause my last one just offered to rip all my teeth out saying none were worth it and give me dentures or implants 🙄 and I'm only 29! My experience before I saw the doctor was not as good as it used to be because I go to the office in Lake Station. This Portage office is much further away from me. I waited a little longer because of some mix up with the rooms back there. However my doctor and his assistant were very pleasant as usual and that settled me down a lot. The Portage office is too busy for me I enjoy going to office in Lake Station and I won't be going back until they finish the renovation for Lake Station I feel more comfortable and relaxed in the Lake Station office. I enjoy my dentist and I will recommend him to a lot of people but not in the Portage office. Less

March 26, 2024 I had an appointment with Dr. Roo today about a broke crown. He got me in and out pretty fast. Gave me choices of what can be done as the tooth that the crown had sat on is no longer viable to put it back on. I appreciate the honesty that Dr. Roo provides during my visits in office. He was very thorough as always. He let me know what was happening as he was making a few adjustments to ensure Crown was set just right. It certainly feels as if it was my original tooth. His assistant was polite, kind and efficient ensuring the area was kept clean and that I did not have excess water in my mouth. I have enjoyed having Dr. Roo with Secure Dental be my dentist. He is a great doctor! He usually operates out of Secure Dental Lake Station. Fortunately, that place is going through a remodel. So I went to Portage. It is such a nice office. I had a few fillings done on my last visit this past Tuesday, the fourth of January 4th 2022. Each time I go to se Dr. Roo, I am becoming more comfortable. I was not in any discomfort at all after he was done. As always, the receptionist and dental assistant were very nice. I do like to mention names but did not get the name of the dental assistant this time. Masks do make it a little difficult to hear the name if they introduced themselves. But they are making sure they/we are being safe. Thank you again for a great visit. On Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 I visited the Portage Secure Dental Location as the Lake Station Office is under a remodel. My dentist, Dr. Roo and some of his staff were there as if I went to the Lake Station Office. I had my teeth cleaned and checked. The dental hygienist was so kind and courteous. She made you feel very comfortable. Dr. Roo came in to check my teeth when she was finished. As always, I leave the dentist office as calm as I walk in. They really do make you feel comfortable. Once I've arrived with my face mask on at proper time. Filled out & updated dental history with a staff for assistance. Shortime later I agree to all my dental work being performed on me, for service being rendered. Many as 12 X-rays, teeth cleaning, teeth polishering, a chip tooth repaired. Plus backed fillings of 4 teeth was repaired. The Dentist & Staff was very courtesy & shared support.
