Their service, "Units", is a pack-at-your-own-pace, and they come and get it, move it, and then you unpack-at-your-own-pace. As one who has used a competitor before (rhymes with BODS), and was planning to do so again, I called them just on a fluke to get a quote. By the time I hung up, I cancelled my reservation with their competitor.Here are the main differences: the Unit is a better physical unit. Sturdier. More heat resistant. But even more, their customer service was extremely more flexible. With their competitor, I had to give a 10-day window to pick up, and another one to move- so it may take a long time to get to me, and then I needed to finish 10-days before my move, because it was going to take 10 days for them to deliver it. I was only moving about 110 miles! With UNITS, I scheduled a drop-off of the UNIT where I was packing. It took about a day to get scheduled and then delivered the next day. Later, as I approached the move, I needed flexibility because we moved up my closing date. With a few days notice, it was picked up on Mon and delivered Tue. This was huge, because we were filling up before our move up to the day we moved. And we could begin unpacking after the move the next day.And then there was PRICE. While I don't have the exact difference in front of me, their service was significantly less expensive than PODS. Significantly! It was like 30% less or more, as I recall, including the monthly rental of the UNIT.Their customer service was great. While part of a nationwide network- so they can coordinate a move from basically anywhere in the country- the branch here is locally owned and operated. Any time I had a question, or to schedule anything, I called their local office and they were EXTREMELY responsive!Combining their phenomenal customer service with their great pricing and their responsive flexibility, I won't use anyone else again. I've moved a couple of times using their competitor, and now I will be using UNITS exclusively.

I highly recommend UNITS of Wilmington - we used two of the large moving containers to move houses. The containers were delivered when agreed upon, picked up and stored while in between closings, and re-delivered exactly when requested. All the staff for scheduling and delivery were amazing to work with, and our items were all delivered in the same condition as when they were packed up. This is a great business and a great price for comparable service.

I called UNITS Wilmington during an emergency. A storage unit was needed immediately due to a medical issue. Bradley worked with us and a unit was delivered the next morning. I found him to be a kind and considerate professional who recognized our need and responded quickly. The UNIT was clean upon arrival. The delivery person was helpful and cooperative. We now need another storage container and he is, again, helpful and trying to assist in anyway needed. I recommend UNITS of Wilmington without reservation.

These guys at "Units of Wilmington", are the best in their class, they are more affordable than the competition and you are able too to get into your POD if needed, your belongings are in a safe, secure, and climate environment if any unforeseen cost should arise, you will be contacted in advance to make sure that's the best possible thing, they always want what's in your best interest as they know how hectic moving can be, I highly recommend these guys to everyone, they went above and beyond for me and I would love to thank them for all their help and professionalism.

If you need a pod these are the people that you need to get it from. Friendly, accommodating, professionalism, just out and out astonishing. The customer service was above and beyond anything I've ever expected,. These people know what they're doing. They aim to please and are not happy until you are very satisfied. They dropped off the Pod within an hour of appointed time, and put it into a place that was so tight, very professional. Five stars does not even come close to what these people deserve. 10 stars all the way.

UNITS is an amazing help to what could be a horrible time.. I had to pack up my childcare center and residence in a matter of days.
