Been to tons of CF boxes and was super impressed with Burg CrossFit upon trying out today. Facility is massive with high ceilings and great airflow even in the scorching hot summer, recovery room including cold plunge, tons of equipment and space, and very friendly and welcoming staff and members. Jason in particular was outstanding with ensuring my wife was comfortable with the workout and had modifications to use if needed. I joined this gym because it’s super convenient—I can just walk there. But honestly, the space is amazing. What really makes it great, though, is the people who work there. Zayne is the trainer during my time slot, and he's awesome. He starts and ends the sessions right on time, and doesn’t just focus on the regulars. He makes sure newbies like me get the help we need, while still challenging the veterans to level up. He even pays attention to the music, changing it if something off doesn’t fit the vibe (like cussing) Zayne is always super motivated and professional, and the whole team is just fantastic and members are welcoming too. Burg is a fantastic gym with great coaches and programming. Though its a little pricey its worth it. You get individual attention even during classes that help achieve any goals. I have had several injuries throughout the years and they have helped me rehab and work through them without having to "stop" my routine. Burg CF is the best CF gym in the area. I feel confident in that statement because I have been a member for four years now. I’ve tried others in the area but never felt as at home as I do here. There is a kids room with windows all around so your kiddos can watch you workout and you can keep an eye on them as you do. Coaching and facility are top tier. The recovery room is a bonus and the gym is always clean. No matter what class you’re in everyone is always friendly and accommodating. It also has everything you need to keep/get you in tip top shape: challenging but always doable workouts, nutritionists, physical therapists and coaches who get to know you and your capabilities. I love this place. This is an amazing gym with amazing staff and members. I recently moved to be closer to work so unfortunately I'm a little farther away than I'd like to be. As I've been testing out gyms closer to me, not one has held to my high expectations that stem from Burg. The coaches are phenomenal and they have in-house PT with Britt and nutrition with Sara. Both are amazing women and great at what they do - always providing great educational knowledge and answering any questions so you know more about your body and health needs. If you've never had xfit experience, they walk you through foundations which teaches you everything you need to know, and yes - it's worth it. I love that they have events outside of the gym so you can get to know others. I'll miss this place, and maybe one day I'll move back closer to the gym. It's been a huge place in my life and filled with great memories. Less
